I have the g3c t.o.r.o. and added a red dot and light. And I caught it at a cheaper price. The price has risen due to the demand and popularity, yet it’s still affordable.

  2. brian peterson on March 5, 2023 at 2:35 am

you didnt include that g3c has a safety,i didnt see that on the gx4.myself i like having a safety, doesnt take long to turn the safety off.especially if you have one in the chamber.

  3. SouthernFriedPrepper on March 5, 2023 at 2:36 am

Bought the 3gc because of hand fit. That finger extension on the mag extension makes it a perfect fit to my hand. Ran over 1000 rounds through it so far and zero issues. Not bad for $299 and came with 3 ds 12 round mags brand new

  4. marco huss on March 5, 2023 at 2:36 am

Have your opinions changed since G3x and G3xL came out?

  5. Marcus Blackmon on March 5, 2023 at 2:36 am

Looking too get one or the other for my wife. She a beginner.
Any recommendations for a new shooter?

  6. Henri' Murphy on March 5, 2023 at 2:37 am

Great vid about these two reliable guns from Taurus. I have the G3C and will buy the GX4 as well.

  7. Delayed Grats on March 5, 2023 at 2:41 am

I bought the Pt-111 Millennium G2 (the early G series Taurus), and never considered replacing it until the GX4 came out. This is not an incremental change to the G series. It’s a true redesign. If you skipped the G series, get the GX4. The G3C and the GX4 are close, but the GX will be the first of a better series of guns.

  8. Michael Howard on March 5, 2023 at 2:42 am

I have all three, G2C G3C and GX4. Love them all!! Upgraded all of them!! For EDC I will take the GX4!! Love your Channel!!

  9. Cardboard Killer on March 5, 2023 at 2:42 am

GX4/GX4XL are better because they’re a completely new design with updated engineering, vs Millennium/G2/G2C/G3/G3C pistols which were originally built with budget production & reliability being the only real design goals and has been rehashed for 3 generations. This is why the GX4/GX4XL cost more and they are worth it if you are looking for micro-compact or compact pistol.
Of course the full-size G3 will be the best shooter out of the guns that I mentioned, because size & weight are the best mitigators of recoil & muzzle rise.
I do trust them all and I really like the PT247 G2s trigger.
I think Taurus has really taken over the budget pistol market, where Ruger use to wear the crown alone.
It looks like there are a few other good budget conscious choices are out there, from budget arms manufacturers other than Ruger & Taurus (like offerings from Mossberg, etc), but I don’t have experience with them yet.
Some of the top tier manufacturers like Walther are making some good budget options as well but dollar for dollar value & tech makes the Taurus lines more attractive. Well, that is if you’re not a status conscientious brand-whore, lol!
I have owned a Walther PPX 9mm and liked it but my Taurus Millennium PT247 G2 just flat-out shot noticeably better (FYI: PPX & Creed are basically the same gun with different aesthetics).
Hope this testimonial helps some of you make up your minds. I receive no compensation from any companies, just sharing my experience & thoughts based on that experience.
    Have a blessed day!

I tried the G3c, but I couldn’t get past my hate for the trigger. Tried a Gx4 and ended up buying one, I don’t regret it at all.

  11. Emerson Müller on March 5, 2023 at 2:45 am

Congratulations on the video. I’m from Brazil, and this is my question. G3C or GX4? Helped me a lot. Thanks.

  12. Texas Viking on March 5, 2023 at 2:51 am

i own a 365xl and a g3c and id rather shoot the g3c it lines up with my grip way better and it feels like i have something to hold on to

  13. Mike Hankins on March 5, 2023 at 2:53 am

Can that little gun really blow a lung right out of your body like biden said?

  14. Molon Labe on March 5, 2023 at 2:53 am

Considered the GX4 but I’ll stick with my PT-111 Millennium G2 with the exteral safety, double strike capability and full hand grip. I decided to put some upgrades in my PT-111 instead of an expenditure for another gun. I’m gonna install a front orange night sight and the stainless steel guide rod with springs. This is my cooler month carry and my new LCP Max is my hot month pocket carry. Thanks for the well-done informative video.

  15. Wes on March 5, 2023 at 2:53 am

You didn’t go into details about recoil issues shooting. My concern is if someone has issues with finger like arthritis needs a slightly larger grip, which would be better? Also how about more information on shooting accuracy and the recoil. Great information about the triggers and recoil control. It would be nice to see actual shooting target results in comparison.

  16. Ed King on March 5, 2023 at 2:54 am

I have a G3c and a Hellcat. I don’t mind the longer play in the trigger. With the Hellcat it’s not hard to get a unintentional double tap the way the trigger works. The G3c is very smooth and accurate with a bit less pop.

  17. Maurice Brister on March 5, 2023 at 2:58 am

Can you do a experience on the G2C40 caliber and the TH40 caliber

  18. TysonDBison on March 5, 2023 at 3:01 am

I dig the Gx4 I hope they make an XL or a compact slightly bigger version like we see on the mc2, 365xl, hellcat, a slightly longer slide and grip flush fit 13 or 15rd mag would be perfect.

  19. Trent Taylor on March 5, 2023 at 3:03 am

I bought the GX 4 the day they hit the shelves, paid $339.00, I really enjoy this little pistol ! It is not a Sig p365 but is so close, the price makes up for it .

  20. John Walker on March 5, 2023 at 3:03 am

Some how just stumbled across some of your videos looking for use of my BOG death grip. Have watched many more of your videos , and must say you put out very professional and informative information. Definitely a subscriber now. Thanks for the top quality videos. 👌

    Subbed ✔️

  22. Carl Love on March 5, 2023 at 3:07 am

I walked into a gun store looking for ammo, and walked out with a Taurus G3C pistol. That was a few months ago, and it just feels great in my hand. I also like the trigger that it came with. One of the only times I haven’t needed to at least polish up the trigger group or make any changes at all.

  23. C Plus Karaoke on March 5, 2023 at 3:08 am

My shop just reduced to $240 and I had to snatch it up. Also finally could afford and purchased a TX-22, save me some ammo cost for practice time. Glock would be ideal for me, but I can’t afford one and Taurus has never done me wrong. 2000 rds with my G2, not one issue. It’s also comforting to know that if you’re just learning to smith, like I am, if you break or lose something, parts are gonna be cheaper to replace.

  24. David Figueira on March 5, 2023 at 3:09 am

I actually own both. The G3C was my second Taurus purchase. The first was a snubnose .357 Magnum revolver. Reloading the revolver was a bit of a pain, even with speedloaders. I sold that, when the GX4 came out, and alternate when I conceal carry wearing lighter clothing. I have had zero issues with either handgun, after putting at least 500 rounds through each. I did swap out the G3C sights for Tritium sights. And I swapped out the larger grip insert on the GX4. Sights will also be changed at some future time.

  25. Scott M on March 5, 2023 at 3:09 am

I think the G3C is better for those with bigger hands. The accessory rail also is nice to mount a laser or light. I haven’t found a holster for one with an accessory attatched though.

  26. Clinton Randolph on March 5, 2023 at 3:10 am

    I’m looking at the g3c

  27. Narvel Boston on March 5, 2023 at 3:11 am

    Good video

  28. Pervy on March 5, 2023 at 3:12 am

Review leaves aa good few things that should be noted between the g3c and gx4. First g3c has the option of a manual safety. g3c has a option for a light attachment. Also mor empahsis on the restrike capability in that you dont have to rerack the slide to dry fire practice is worth mentioning a additional plus. These are pretty big factors for those who may want such things.

Think you got a little stuck in the weeds and missed some trees. Great review otherwise and very helpful.

  29. Unappreciated Treehouse on March 5, 2023 at 3:13 am

I bought G3c and it’s an absolute piece of shit. Will not feed ammo. I’ll never own another as soon as I can get rid of this one.

  30. Ghillie Man Reviews on March 5, 2023 at 3:13 am

The GX4 is amazing. I came from a g2c before and my gx4 quality is amazing.

  31. Keith Jones on March 5, 2023 at 3:14 am

    Nicely done and very informative.

  32. Michael Thomas on March 5, 2023 at 3:14 am

    great video.

  33. krashdude1 on March 5, 2023 at 3:15 am

I just bought a new GX4 and immediately had trigger reset issues. Basically a dead trigger every 20 rounds or so. I shipped it back to Taurus. Otherwise it shot very well..

  34. 7mm WSM on March 5, 2023 at 3:15 am

    Just bought the Gc3 👍

  35. Narvel Boston on March 5, 2023 at 3:19 am

  36. lgwappo on March 5, 2023 at 3:19 am

I do like that the G3 has restrike. Tap & rack is fine unless you’re on your last round.

You can’t tell me what to do

  38. Rick Lynn on March 5, 2023 at 3:21 am

Awesome video! I have the Gx4 great choice! Btw “subscribe” is spelt incorrectly 😜

  39. Dee Mack on March 5, 2023 at 3:22 am

Wished the G4 had a rail system. Still thinking about checking it out.

  40. ODHoover on March 5, 2023 at 3:22 am

Purchased my first pistol today. Got a G3 for jus under $300

  41. Guruthos Sindarin on March 5, 2023 at 3:22 am

My daughter and I tried the G3C and GX4 side-by-side. The GX4 was a range rental. For both of us, as soon as we bought the G3C up the vertical alignment on the sights was perfect. The GX4 we had to tilt (up I think). I was wondering if a different backstrap might make the GX4 align like the G3C. Anyone experience/experiment with this?

  42. SupraJZA80 on March 5, 2023 at 3:23 am

The safety on the G3 is a no for me. I’ll wait until the next Gen to get one. However the Gx4 look like a decent EDC.

  43. F4GOTTEN WARRIORS on March 5, 2023 at 3:24 am

Trigger in the GX4 reminds me of the mossberg MC1

  44. TactiKool_Dad in da PNW on March 5, 2023 at 3:24 am

Adding an update from last watching this vid. I was going to buy the GX4, but then held back and was going back to the G3C as I have extra mags….Ended up getting the GX4 Toro when it showed up.
    lol! Haven’t shot it yet…

  45. steven flores on March 5, 2023 at 3:25 am

I got the gx4 for the wife. Liked it so much I picked up a gx4 toro for myself as a truck/spare pistol. 365xl will stay the carry pistol still.

  46. Mike Jones on March 5, 2023 at 3:27 am

I’ve had a G2, G2C and I bought the G3 when they first came out and I absolutely love mine never had 1 single problem I shoot ever type of ammo aluminum, steel, brass casing and it’s never jammed best gun for the money! Very accurate and reliable, I trust my life with it! I’m looking at the GX4 and the only reason I’m going to get a GX4 is because my G3 is a little to big to carry in my waist band

  47. jimi day on March 5, 2023 at 3:28 am

Thank you Brother!!!… 100% because of THIS video I went with the GX 4 even though I had researched the crap out of the G3C!!… Your comprehensive and informative narrative helped me decide!!… So yes, I hit the like and subscribe button!!!… Thanks again and looking forward to more content!!

  48. Ron Burnett on March 5, 2023 at 3:31 am

    Great video 👍

  49. Robert Monette on March 5, 2023 at 3:32 am

I can only speak for myself but I would choose the GX4 for maximum concealment with a kydex IWB holster. I have held one in my big hand and was fine with the grip solid and firm for every day carry at close range I like the GX4

  50. R O C R O C on March 5, 2023 at 3:33 am

I noticed yesterday that Taurus had a coupon on their website for a 3c. That might give you a hint what they think. I looked at the x4 with extended magazine at the gun store yesterday and really liked the look and feel of it. I have never had a pistol so the only experience I’ve had so far is online videos. Based on looks and feel (with arthritic left thumb & 2 fingers) my favorite is a Walther ccp M2 but it was a lot more expensive. The x4 does not have a safety. I’ve never owned a gun without a safety so that is disconcerting to me. I presume it has more to do with carry than anything else.
