CZ Over/Under Shotguns — A Comparison of Models

CZ Over/Under Shotguns — A Comparison of Models

With a wide selection of over/under shotguns to choose from, the biggest deciding factors are the level of engraving, frame material and wood grade. Build quality, fit and finish are similar across the line, with CNCed actions, premium internals, hardy finishes and Turkish walnut furniture on all of our over/unders.

I have heard that parts are hard to find for Turkish made shotguns. Is this true because I am a CZ fan?

Good afternoon, can I clarify a doubt. I’m purchasing a 12 caliber CZ Sporting, but I can’t find this model anywhere. You can tell me about values.

My daughter has decided to shoot sporting clays for her High School this year. We went with the Drake, and am very pleased with the gun. I’ve heard nothing but good things about CZ shotguns.

I have a Redhead Premier in 20 gauge. I mostly shoot clays, but love it for quail as well. I tried shooting clays with 12 gauge auto, I came back to the CZ and plan to stick with it. I would like to have extended choke tubes for it, otherwise it’s a fantastic gun for the money. I have no regrets with the purchase, very much recommend the Redhead Premier.

And made in Turkey for CZ.

Was just in KC and hoped to visit CZ-USA HQ and check out different models. Called ahead and was told they are only a warehouse and do not have any type of “showroom”. Person was very nice, and said they receive many similar calls. I was interested in an All American model with adjustable stock components, comb and butt plate. I guess I have to go to Bass Pro and order one.

I have the Bobwhite g2 in 20 and 28 gauge. I owned a Redhead Premier and I sold it like an idiot. CZ is the best value and IMO the best gun for your hard earned cash 💰

Awesome shotguns. A little advise for your videos: don’t use a black table – makes it hard to see the guns.

  24. Scott Metzker on October 27, 2021 at 6:09 pm

    have 3 out of 4. awesome O/U!!!

  25. gnarshread on October 27, 2021 at 6:10 pm

I wish there was a left handed version of the Redhead Premier.

  26. steve cooper on October 27, 2021 at 6:10 pm

Nothing said about barrel lenghts ! In the UK we mostly want 32” barrels for sporting, preferably with fixed chokes 1/2-3/4 or 1/2 & 1/2 or 1/2 & full.

  27. James Ivy on October 27, 2021 at 6:14 pm

  28. Instrutor Guerino on October 27, 2021 at 6:15 pm

Boa tarde, pode me exclarecer uma duvida. Estou adiquirindo uma CZ Sporting calibre 12, porem não encontro esse modelo em lugar nenhum. Sabe me dizer sobre valores.

Thank you much for this simple video! I wanted to know if the Drake had a steel receiver and you answered that. I’m sold!

  34. mrdefence speedjammer on October 27, 2021 at 6:18 pm

All made in turkey by Akkar

  35. Jeffrey Locke on October 27, 2021 at 6:18 pm

Does the ultralight 12 gauge with aluminum receiver have any steel reinforcement areas placed in it? If so will it compare to the way a Browning Feather receiver has a steel breech plate area and a steel full length hinge pin? If not how about the comparison to the Franchi SL model in 12 gauge that has an aluminum receiver with a titanium breech plate insert to add strength where needed?
