What’s your favorite aftermarket barrel for the compact 2.0 threaded for a comp!?
I’m very new to firearms and just purchased a m&p shield 2.0. I’d like a light for it what is a good brand to start with or something that you personally trust?
This was three years ago. I assume you’ve had time to pick a favorite. I have an M&P 2.0 Compact, want a barrel, and I’m not too worried about having to have it fitted. Apex, Faxon, or Black List?

Good afternoon. I love your vids watched them all, sub. I need help. I have M&P 2.0 compact 4”. I bought Ed Brown ported slide but it’s 4.25. Fully assembled $600. When I got it. Realized guide rod recoil spring hair too short. I was like duh once I tried to assemble. Ed Brown will not get back to me. Want to know if just need to buy a 4.25 barrel & guide rod recoil spring and my gun will be back in action. PLEASE HELP!! 🙏

Thank you for this video. It’s the second review video on the Faxon M&P9c 2.0 barrel that I’ve watched tonight, but I have read and watched reviews on it in the past. This is the first review I’ve seen that’s mentioned this barrel having an extended lock time. That is crucial factor for considering whether or not I’d spend money to replace the barrel in mine. Now that Faxon 4” chameleon barrel will be mine next time I get some money coming in.

does the faxon barrel fix the early unlocking in the m2.0 or is that only the apex barrel?

I agree brother… I made a mistake because the coating on the barrel hood was preventing it from premature unlocking… Once the coating wore off I noticed it. I made an update video and spoke about the correction

Hey I just found out that Apex has a drop-in barrel for the 4” compact barrel available in both treaded and non treaded. Let me know what you think of it.

Wow dry ordered this threaded barrel for my m2.0 Compact and I see why it sticks out more than I’d expect it… Great review pointing out that Faxon basically has the same threaded barrel that fits better with the M&P 4.25" gun and don’t have a dedicated version for the 4"…hoping to keep the carbon off the front of my gun but this explanation makes sense on why it’s a touch too long… But of a bummer
What do you think about using a Stock 4.25in barrel in the 4" compact? Won a ebay bid for 28 bucks on a New S&W 4.25in .40 cal barrel and plan on throwing it in my M&P40 M2.0 4 inch Compact.
Out of the 4in and 3.6in compacts, which do you recommend?

I use the 5" Wilson Combat stainless steel ported barrel on my Smith & Wesson 1.0. Easily the best I’ve used yet.
So would this fit a 2.0 3.6" as opposed to the 4" ??

Is this barrel just for looks, or will it enhance the shootability of the gun?
These barrels do not address accuracy. I tried one of the faxon in my m&p and it shoots identically to my stock barrel which is not very impressive. Looks like I have to now spend money on an apex semi drop in barrel that is known to actually get a good lock up
