Watchfinder & Co. presents:

You don’t need twenty-twenty vision to spot that the Bell & Ross BR 05 looks a little bit—well, a lot a bit—like Audemars Piguet’s pivotal Royal Oak. It’s as obvious as the sky being blue, the grass being green and the waiting list at Rolex being long. Question is—does it matter?

I don’t see the resemblance tbh

  2. Reeze Vlog on November 1, 2021 at 8:47 pm

if that was design by Genta, it could get away it……..

  3. Vin's World on November 1, 2021 at 8:48 pm

Its beautiful and i love the big numbers on the face

  4. n b on November 1, 2021 at 8:49 pm

I think its more nautilus. But in my opinion B&R have smashed it out of the park with this. But its just too much money for a B&R

  5. Rodrigo Gutierrez Reyes on November 1, 2021 at 8:51 pm

I like this B&R. I don’t necessarily see the RO affinity, looks more like Nautilus. But then again, it’s B&R DNA all over, squared case, round dial, exposed screws, it very uch is a B&R watch and not so much a homage. Also did AP come up with it or did Genta did? Did PP copy AP or did Genta copy himself?

  6. Jorge Chávez on November 1, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Yeah I’m not sure about this one.

  7. Vas Varnava on November 1, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Spends the first half of the video talking about other brands…

  8. I.O. on November 1, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Well, stealing ideas is a new normal, I believe. Look what Chopard came with, and Zenith recently. It’s horrible.

  9. Goran on November 1, 2021 at 8:53 pm

    It’s back out

  10. Mike Rebant on November 1, 2021 at 8:53 pm

The numerals look more like a Panerai…

  11. Messy 0121 on November 1, 2021 at 8:54 pm

Looks nothing like an ap though..

  12. TheAmazingMrZ on November 1, 2021 at 8:54 pm

What a poor take on “copying.” This is clearly a dress version of the traditional BR watches. What else would you expect a dress BR-03 look like?

  13. Oumar Diallo on November 1, 2021 at 8:56 pm

It look more like a baby of a royal oak and a naut

  14. C J on November 1, 2021 at 8:57 pm

Wait, was the RO the first watch with an odd shape and screw-down bezel?

  15. hellslayer 96 on November 1, 2021 at 8:57 pm

this looks like a chinese ripp of ap and nautilus 😔 good company made a worse thing

  16. Matej Ferletic on November 1, 2021 at 8:58 pm

The only thing i see is the bracelet similar to the Nautilus one… but nothing like RO.

  17. Belcultassi Looisos on November 1, 2021 at 9:00 pm

There seems to be a trend in your videos whereby you talk about a completely different watch and/or brand for almost the entire video and do not share much information at all about the watch that’s supposedly featured in the video. Your Aventi video is another example.

  18. Jonathan Corbett on November 1, 2021 at 9:01 pm

How can anyone talk so much without saying nothing. No wonder this guy likes B&R’s Royal Oak. They’re a perfect match since both perfectly encapsulate style over substance.

  19. Halvert Roberts on November 1, 2021 at 9:03 pm

I only buy on superclone watch and loansliml.com they are best for replicas

  20. Rudolph Beasley on November 1, 2021 at 9:04 pm

Defo doesnt look like an AP

  21. Mac fl on November 1, 2021 at 9:06 pm

This watch doesent look like RO at all.Nothing, nada

  22. durbarmarg on November 1, 2021 at 9:07 pm

I don’t see this as an AP copy at all. B&R has been making square cased flight-instrument styled watches for 30 years, all of which feature 4 large screws at the corners of the case front. It’s a very distinctive design, and it’s always looked like it was pulled straight from from a cockpit instrument panel, not from any other watch brand. Just adding an integrated bracelet to this core B&R design does not make it a Genta rip-off, at all.

  23. Sharon Kalarikkal on November 1, 2021 at 9:10 pm

Bell & Ross is my first luxury watch. I loved that iconic shape.

  24. DiveJumpShooter on November 1, 2021 at 9:11 pm

Sorry but that is an ugly watch

  25. j0nnyism on November 1, 2021 at 9:11 pm

The plates are just sand blasted rather than engraved? Pretty basic. But still an excellent watch

  26. MericanSport on November 1, 2021 at 9:12 pm

I really like this watch but I don’t really like the Royal Oak, it looks like an old mans watch.

  27. Ernest Sianturi on November 1, 2021 at 9:12 pm

It doesn’t look exactly like Royal Oak, but it does remind you of Royal Oak.

  28. Speed Zero on November 1, 2021 at 9:14 pm

    I want this

  29. Mira culix on November 1, 2021 at 9:14 pm

Hey, I am a big Mido fan and I really think Mido is highly underrated for what they do. I guess a lot of people are missing out. Can you do a Mido review? Maybe the Multifort series or the classy one: Commander. They have a lot. My personal fav is the Patrimony. A beautiful watch, affordable and nice techniques.

Dude….love AP like most folk….this clearly has typical Bell & Ross design cues….stop being a hater

  32. casualsuede on November 1, 2021 at 9:22 pm

If you want fake AP’s, go to AliExpress, lots of examples there.

  33. Rene Kaiser on November 1, 2021 at 9:25 pm

    🤮

  34. Sizzle Bear on November 1, 2021 at 9:26 pm

Crown guards, dial markers and hands screaming Panerai to me

  35. Rev. Andy H. on November 1, 2021 at 9:27 pm

    I hate it.

  36. joel rikardsson on November 1, 2021 at 9:27 pm

A steel watch with screws and an integrated bracelet is not ground for calling it a clone as clear as the sky is blue? This is really a beautiful watch with certain elements borrowed from other steel sportswatches!

  37. jharris947 on November 1, 2021 at 9:27 pm

I like it but for me the dial looks too small in relation to the size of the surrounding steel case.

  38. Luke Rabin on November 1, 2021 at 9:27 pm

Really? But it’s a solid metal version of their stock in trade “aircraft dial “ design. It takes on a different feel with solid steel case, but in fairness, did you ever say the same with the last 15 years of B&R watches?

  39. Paves Garage on November 1, 2021 at 9:29 pm

I think all watch snobs are calling it a royal oak copy just to hate on Bell & Ross.

  40. Egis Petronis on November 1, 2021 at 9:31 pm

this is just more modern looking and good price and good quality

  41. SinTaker on November 1, 2021 at 9:31 pm

    $5000 for a Sellita watch? i mean

  42. Martin on November 1, 2021 at 9:33 pm

Nice design but I will not risk 3000£

  43. Laxman Pandey on November 1, 2021 at 9:34 pm

One of my dream watch ⌚😍 soon I’ll make it mine

  44. Andrew on November 1, 2021 at 9:34 pm

I think yall just have an obession with relating watches to the royal oak. Bell and ross has always represented originality imo. And this model is no different.

  45. DRACO FURY 13 on November 1, 2021 at 9:37 pm

Patek… ok you got a argument
    *But a Royal Oak* ⁉️

  46. True2022 on November 1, 2021 at 9:37 pm

Over halfway thru and the video is still about Royal Oak …fk that im out

  47. spark6023 on November 1, 2021 at 9:41 pm

I don’t agree with you. Inspired by Royal Oak? yes.
Fake / copy? no. Its a beautiful watch that deserves its own place.
I just don’t agree with the price, but thats just me.

  48. j0nnyism on November 1, 2021 at 9:42 pm

Never liked the Royal Oak. Just don’t like the screws heads I think they’re unsightly

  49. Victor M on November 1, 2021 at 9:43 pm

Recently tried it. The watch is sublime on my 17.5 cm wrist, sits just perfect. Very classy and expensive looking as well. But the price is still crazy high IMO. I would pick it up for $3k new in a heartbeat.

  50. FB Kensar HD on November 1, 2021 at 9:46 pm

Looks like it can’t decide between the royal Oak and the Nautilus
