We were down at Big 3 East in Daytona Beach, FL again in March to cover the event and we had an opportunity to check out some very cool 9mm carbines from Tresna Defense. These carbines feature the same manual of arms as your AR-15, even a last round bolt hold open with the current design. If you you remember from the Fall The Big 3 is a gathering of Gun Writers, Bloggers, Photographers, YouTubers and manufacturers to showcase new products for the coming year.

  5. NCtrail4R on November 18, 2021 at 8:41 pm

Thanks for sharing this one! Love the idea of pairing up a rifle and a handgun.  Have a Sub2000 that uses Glock mags but like the idea of it being an AR trainer with matching controls.

  6. Joe Dirt on November 18, 2021 at 8:41 pm

  8. scubrodiver on November 18, 2021 at 8:49 pm

If they can bring this version and the other calibers to market at a decent price, it’d be worth a look

  9. BB on November 18, 2021 at 8:49 pm

  10. P Hab on November 18, 2021 at 8:49 pm

I would love one in 10mm 45 would be cool but any of them would be great. Thanks for the video.

  11. Jesse Sisolack on November 18, 2021 at 8:50 pm

What legal issues would they have from having a removable barrel on a pistol? Seems like if you going with the pistol, you are conserened about space, so it makes even more sense to have their barrel removal system.

  12. NAHAAFB on November 18, 2021 at 8:51 pm

Why is the mag moving back and forth every time the bolt strips a round from it. at 18 seconds into the video

  13. Jose Rubalcaba on November 18, 2021 at 8:51 pm

Why not show us ones we can buy instead of showing us ones we can’t

  14. JediNachos on November 18, 2021 at 8:53 pm

    That looks sweet.

  15. MrRdvs87 on November 18, 2021 at 8:57 pm

No doubt this is cool, why not just go with a mech tech? I’m mostly thinking cost here but that’s a factor a lot of folks consider.

  16. danthefrst on November 18, 2021 at 8:57 pm

They chould made the handle into a spare magazine holder!

  17. Edward Kiefer on November 18, 2021 at 8:58 pm

what is the action type, blow-back, DI, piston ?

  18. Sid_1026 on November 18, 2021 at 8:58 pm

What would be the purpose of having a ar platform chamber in 9mm or any pistol caliber over your standard rifle rounds 556, 308, or 762

  19. Joe on November 18, 2021 at 9:01 pm

Why haven’t manufacturers came up with 9 mm mags that look like 5.56 mags? I think having those 9 mm mags on assault rifles and such ruins the look of the gun.

  20. chrisloUSA on November 18, 2021 at 9:01 pm

Wait, they make extended magazines for the M&P?

  21. Bryant Baxter on November 18, 2021 at 9:01 pm

Lone Wolf G9. Look it up.

  22. l3arrett82 on November 18, 2021 at 9:03 pm

wake me up when someone comes out with a NICE 44 mag carbine or SBR with at least a 10 round detachable mag. 15 or 20 round mags would be nice but id settle for 10.

  23. Modern gun guy on November 18, 2021 at 9:06 pm

What kind of stock is that I would like to get one??

  24. Auld Wulf on November 18, 2021 at 9:06 pm

I live in the UK these videos fill me with jealousy. Great work keep it up.

  25. NornIron19 on November 18, 2021 at 9:07 pm

I wonder if Glock would ever consider making a rifle. I’d buy one lol

  26. Rozmic on November 18, 2021 at 9:09 pm

Why on earth is the barrel on that pistol version so long? Its only  9mm.

  27. Captain Deadpool on November 18, 2021 at 9:09 pm

is it just me or does that AR sound kinda funny?

  28. woggen69 on November 18, 2021 at 9:09 pm

Can you send me a peac of your glock 18 brass sined

  29. G19Jeeper on November 18, 2021 at 9:10 pm

You guys should do a video on the Mini-14 if you haven’t already

  30. john luis on November 18, 2021 at 9:11 pm

    A five gun video

  31. Solar_Empire on November 18, 2021 at 9:11 pm

I love the idea of pistol caliber carbines especially because they are way easier to suppress and most of the time cheaper to feed but I can’t justify the price point. 1100 bucks is way too steep.

  32. Cliff Walker on November 18, 2021 at 9:12 pm

Why in the world do domestic LE need full-auto anyways, doesn’t that seem fucked up?

  33. 775chingon on November 18, 2021 at 9:12 pm

Hello sorry this comment Is not about the video but I have a question about ammo is there a federal law that says you can not return ammo? Maby a subscriber can answer as well thanks. Huge fan by the way one of the best channels on YouTube!

  34. Sand Hollow Homestead on November 18, 2021 at 9:13 pm

  35. M P on November 18, 2021 at 9:14 pm

Does anyone know of a gun that’s a AK set up but uses a AR magazine.

  36. Tekkno on November 18, 2021 at 9:14 pm

Whats wrong with a take down function on a pistol?

  37. _Suburban_ on November 18, 2021 at 9:14 pm

Barrel has M203 cut.  Thanks Tresna!

  38. Mark Morrison on November 18, 2021 at 9:16 pm

  39. Richard Rife on November 18, 2021 at 9:22 pm

    Btw.. Police ARE civilians.

  40. Richard Rife on November 18, 2021 at 9:22 pm

It pisses me off when people like you act as if LE are not civilians..

  41. True Born Son Of Liberty on November 18, 2021 at 9:22 pm

The way the BATFE is interpreting the ar pistols now, they’ve determined that even shouldering a bare buffer tube, is a redesign into a SBR. FYI

  42. Daniel regester on November 18, 2021 at 9:25 pm

    9 mm is for gays

  43. Gök Türk on November 18, 2021 at 9:25 pm

    Less talk.More shot. Pls

  44. David Ball on November 18, 2021 at 9:25 pm

all I can hear when you fire the gun, is that damn spring going back and forth.

  45. David Hynes on November 18, 2021 at 9:27 pm

I still don’t like the mag wells on the AR 9mm carbines. It still just looks like an AR-15 with a block in there or something. The form factor is weird seeing a narrow stick magazine coming out of an AR lower.

  46. Jemstone24 on November 18, 2021 at 9:30 pm

What kind of stock is that?

  47. chrisloUSA on November 18, 2021 at 9:34 pm

It’s nice, I like it, but I am holding out for a gas operated, pistol caliber carbine.

  48. Texicles on November 18, 2021 at 9:35 pm

Would love a pistol with DRD in .40! I’d SBR it in a heartbeat and carry it as a get-home gun to complement my glock.

  49. TommyTooTone on November 18, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Yayyyy! New weapons for the cops to shoot us with! 😀

  50. don stromberg on November 18, 2021 at 9:38 pm

I would buy that carbine if it was chambered in 10mm.
