  12. Military Arms Channel on October 28, 2021 at 6:12 pm

I don’t know the specific model, but it’s a holster sold by the Mako Group which markets Israeli equipment here in the US.

  13. murph1911 on October 28, 2021 at 6:15 pm

Is that AK mag well going to be made in any other calibers?

  20. jweed6 on October 28, 2021 at 6:24 pm

    krav maga is the shit.

  21. MakoDefense on October 28, 2021 at 6:27 pm

No kidding. He was obviously talking about effective range, which is impacted by many variables, from the accuracy of the weapon itself to the exterior ballistics of the cartridge, and can even include terminal ballistics. If you can understand what he was talking about, so should most other people. In this case, effective range is increased by allowing the shooter to increase stability and thus longer-range accuracy. No one said that exterior / terminal ballistics of the cartridge were changed.

  22. Ryan on October 28, 2021 at 6:28 pm

But an AR-15 chambered in 9mm feels exactly like an AR-15 chambered in 308. You wouldn’t say that those two firearms have the same range. I feel like we’re kinda splitting hairs but range is only quantifiable if you define it in terms of ballistics vs. how the firearm feels to the shooter.

  23. MakoDefense on October 28, 2021 at 6:29 pm

Every serious shooter understands the basic difference between pistol and rifle caliber ballistics. No one is going to seriously think MAC is claiming the KPOS tuns a 9mm into LR118.

  24. Draxaan on October 28, 2021 at 6:34 pm

I see how Garret Machine got his name! That guy is insane.

  25. CArtOfTheMAn on October 28, 2021 at 6:34 pm

That ak magwell will be well received!

  26. Terror Billy on October 28, 2021 at 6:34 pm

Veprs don’t get out much huh to bad

  27. Ryan on October 28, 2021 at 6:35 pm

What you’re describing is ‘effective range’. This distinction is made in Army field manuals.

  28. Kyle Hills on October 28, 2021 at 6:35 pm

Good thing fuckin with Israeli special forces isn’t on my bucket list.

  29. Brandyn on October 28, 2021 at 6:35 pm

  30. DXGators on October 28, 2021 at 6:36 pm

Hey MAC, what kind of conceal holster was Garret Machine using for the demo in the end?

  31. MakoDefense on October 28, 2021 at 6:37 pm

Let me clear this up for you. I was at a competition at machine gun shoot and at one point, shooters turned the corner of a trail in the woods to see three head/chest sized targets at 75 – 100 meters. With their pistols, every shooter who tried to engage the targets at that range missed. We ran it again and I let the same users shoot the course with the KPOS. Each one hit each target first shot at 75 -100 meters with a Glock pistol mounted in the KPOS. The KPOS increases the accurate range.

  32. TheBarnicle1911 on October 28, 2021 at 6:38 pm

    Awesome video dude.

  37. Custos Libertatis on October 28, 2021 at 6:41 pm

Can’t wait for that AK magwell mod!

  38. Military Arms Channel on October 28, 2021 at 6:42 pm

That was a VERY early prototype of a left hand charging handle for the AK. The concept is that all you would have to do is drop this top cover on the rifle and without any further modifications you would have a left side cocking capability. But it was more of a mock-up / proof of concept model and not something to really be shown. It did work though, but it was pretty ugly since it was a rough prototype.

  39. Military Arms Channel on October 28, 2021 at 6:42 pm

It’s not likely to happen any time soon, if ever. However, I hope to test an alternative here soon.

  47. Andys051 on October 28, 2021 at 6:48 pm

Hey MAC heard anything more about that magazine adapter for the AK?

  48. Military Arms Channel on October 28, 2021 at 6:49 pm

It’s a Tapco G2 trigger that’s really smooth. But yes, it’s just me having lots of trigger time with the AK being able to find that sweet spot where I can get it rolling really fast.

  49. seminolekilla on October 28, 2021 at 6:52 pm

    ……thanks for the input…

  50. CoffeeCat on October 28, 2021 at 6:56 pm
