Fantastic video !!! This helps out a lot looking for a scope that is not a turd. I am in the market for a rifle scope for my 30-06. I have a past eye injury, now with a scar 1mm from my pupil. With all your experience, what scope would you suggest for me in my situation and on a teacher’s budget?

dude, i fucking love this channel. i just stumbled on you by looking for a "budget" scope. because im a cheap ass and im wanting to get a scope for one of my ARs. but i can really appreciate that you dont kiss youtubes ass by censoring yourself. you just speak how you (im guessing here) talk in real life. thatis something i can really appreciate. far too often you run across a channel and the person is acting like someone they arent. or they have developed an alter ego, or a different personality, their "youtube personality" and that shit is completely moronic to me. it makes me instinctively not trust them. just be your fucking self, i dont want to see some shitty actor trying to sell me some chinese made bullshit. just be yourself assholes. thats why i really appreciate this channel. keep kicking ass. well done, and because of your no bullshit videos, you have earned a new subscriber. granted its just me, but its a new sub to add to the collection. thanks.

The Redfield revolution line of scopes are almost the same as the Leopold VX freedom line for less money, and Leopold makes them

Ok ill take your word on the copperhead. Any honest thoughts on a NEW diamondback 3-9×40? Is it as "good" as a diamondback tactical ? 🤔

  23. blair breland on November 16, 2021 at 7:54 pm

Bushnell must be better in the states cause any cheap one I have seen didn’t work right or fell apart. Wouldn’t touch another one at any price.

I was going to get one of those Riton 3-9x, but I got the "wrong" one. The scope I bought was the RT-S Mod5 Gen2 scope. It has side PA and 30 mm main tube. I haven’t shot with it yet, but it seems to be a nice scope. I hope I haven’t stepped in it. Joe, would you like to review it? Let me know.

  28. bill kelley on November 16, 2021 at 7:58 pm

natchez sells an exclusive weaver classic line of riflescopes and they appear to be a good buy quality vs affordability type of scope, you should let us know about them since nobody is doing reviews for them.

I actually have a Bushnell 4-12×50 that I was fortunate enough to get as a combination with my Savage Axis ll XP Overwatch in 7.62×51. I have a number of scopes on my Rifles from Leupolds to Weavers and others but I’m incredibly impressed with this Bushnell. Multi Coated Lenses, purged and Argon filled, fog proof, water proof, etc… I couldn’t be more pleased if I tried.the glass is spectacular and from dawn to dusk it draws in light like a turd draws flies. Thank You Bushnell and Thank You Savage For Sighting Her In At The Factory. Much and greatly appreciated.

A Riton 3-9×40 is showing up at my house tomorrow according to UPS. It’s not the one in this video, however. It’s a "Riton RT-S MOD 5 GEN2 3-9×40 Riflescope, Black". It was a bit more than the 175$ (i.e., 190$) in your video, but it does have parallax adjustment". I’m kinda like a kid at Christmas.

  34. Al Blackwell on November 16, 2021 at 8:02 pm

Joe, What about the Westhunter brand scope?

  35. Jamie Silvers on November 16, 2021 at 8:03 pm

How about the Fuji accurion series of scopes? They are currently 79 dollars shipped from a camera site with “scope” as the 100off code. I just picked up the 3.5-10/50 hoping I didn’t make a mistake and got me a turd coming….

  37. Tony Kemp on November 16, 2021 at 8:04 pm

Bushnell is a great scope 3x9x50 , I use it on my ruger precision rifle 22 L.R. and I use a bushnell 12 x 24×50 on my savage btvss 22magnum and I have a red field scope and a very old tasco 3x9x40 I am a big fan of bushnell scopes . Joe you give a lot Of input on different rifle scopes and what I see is brilliant,s comming from you , my grand son buying a 223 ruger precision rifle the scope the mounts where looking at price of around 800.00 and up 1000.00 dollars range so much to choes you have helped in the past on good scopes I thankyou Joe for putting me on the right track on scopes kinds regards TONY

  38. Robert on November 16, 2021 at 8:05 pm

  39. Dave lewis on November 16, 2021 at 8:05 pm

Yo Sam ! Dave from the U.K . Love your info buddy 💪 . Are these scopes you’ve recommended available across the pond . Bearing in mind as you’re probably aware of we’re limited to sub- 12ft pounds ???

  40. Oh Shoot on November 16, 2021 at 8:06 pm

I appreciate the shit out of these videos

  41. Greg Webb on November 16, 2021 at 8:07 pm

I have the Hawke Vantage 3-9×40 based on your recommendation. Thanks Joe! Can you recommend a throw lever that will fit? Once again trying not to break the bank.

  42. Darin Sroka on November 16, 2021 at 8:08 pm

I have 2 Simmons scopes and they treated me well but the 3x9x40 was a miss, double check my base and rings to make sure there tight and still would not hole zero.

  43. Shawn Lowder on November 16, 2021 at 8:09 pm

With low light shooting being most important, Sig whiskey 3 or vortex crossfire ?

  45. Doug Beatty on November 16, 2021 at 8:13 pm

which of the above, in your opinion would last longest on a springer?

  46. Anthony Collado on November 16, 2021 at 8:13 pm

hi cyclops, I know you talk about scopes and budget scopes, But what caliber are the scopes capable of holding…without being ruined.

  47. Michael Compton on November 16, 2021 at 8:16 pm

New to your channel. Been watching for a few months. I am prejudice when it comes to age and years of experience. So my age tells me to stick with those that have been around for a while. And I appreciate that you don’t need or require paid evaluations of a product. And I’m really amazed at the ass kicking you toke as a teenager and can just let it go and not play the victim mentality. Anyway, great videos! After I retired 6 years ago I thought that I would start to become a deer hunter and after several years using iron sights I’ve concluded that I need a scope just to focus in at just only 50 yards. I live in Missouri and frankly 50-100 yards is average with the type of woods I hunt in therefore a scope to match this environment could at least help me see my target. Your "budget scope" video and others helped me to settle on the Vortex Diamondback, Vortex Crossfire II, or the Sig Sauer Whiskey 3 DBC-1. It’s hard to find the Vortex Diamondback at a decent price, I’m kind of iffy on the Vortex Crossfire II, so I’m going all in on the Sig Sauer Whiskey 3 DBC-1. Please tell me that this one is NOT made in CHINA? Again thanks for your videos and experience.
