AR 9mm Pistol Build | GUNTEC USA 4" MLOK RAIL | HOW TO BUILD: PART 5

Guntec USA IG: @guntec_usa

My IG: @MustyYeti

Today we are taking a look at the excellent 4″ MLOK Rail from Guntec USA. After spending hours searching the web for the perfect rail for my small AR-9, I landed on this specific rail. This is a very low cost, high quality rail, that is easy to install and gets the job done. I’ve been very pleased with this rail so far and I’ll discuss my final thoughts in the video were we go over the build after several rounds go through this thing. Thanks for watching, please like and subscribe. Take care.

So when are you going to shoot it?? I’m looking forward to hearing the range results.

  3. Jake Angelini on November 8, 2021 at 12:36 am

Damn badass. How long from end of the buffer to end of the brake is it? Looks so compact!

What size barrel and rail is that?

  14. coronadrvr on November 8, 2021 at 12:55 am

Iโ€™m building one with the same barrel/rail. I need that angled fore grip!!! Or at least the file to print my own haha

  15. donavan marsh on November 8, 2021 at 12:55 am

hey internet, i have a question. on a pcc build is there no need for a gas block or a gas tube?

  16. Brian Kidani on November 8, 2021 at 12:55 am

What kind of buffer spring and buffer are you using?

  17. H Sharma on November 8, 2021 at 12:55 am

Proper torque is 30- 80 ft lbs. this generally universal-the reason being that the barrel extension is screwed on and torqued to about 120-180ft lbs. youโ€™re supposed to leave a healthy margin or youโ€™ll rotate the extensionโ€™s feed ramps relative to the receiver.

Nice work on the foregrip mate, I’ve just ordered a couple of the Samson Stubby Grips and Barricade Stops for my new builds to acheive a similar result but I do like your one peice design idea. You should market them for sale. Cheers from NZ

  19. dontae donnell on November 8, 2021 at 12:58 am

    Good job

  20. Jose Villa on November 8, 2021 at 1:00 am

This needs a short buffer system. Then it’ll be the ultimate subcompact ar pistol ever.

  21. D1n Dark on November 8, 2021 at 1:00 am

That angled grip is awesome. You really need to consider selling them.

  22. MikeTheSith200 on November 8, 2021 at 1:00 am

I have the same rail and it will NOT line up.

  23. Michael Evans on November 8, 2021 at 1:01 am

Can you add a folding adapter and a SBA brace to this build that won’t flag as a AOW/SBR?

  24. mike cool on November 8, 2021 at 1:02 am

You should look into deadfoot arms folding adapter

  25. Joe Dirt on November 8, 2021 at 1:02 am

Step one. Sell all gun tec shit
Step two. Buy Midwest industries rail
Step three. Install the rail without shims or watching a gay porno
Step four. Drink a Busch light and invest in astroglide
Step five. Can’t remember FUCKKKKKKK ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค—

  26. A. Ced. on November 8, 2021 at 1:04 am

Come on MUSTY we need a final review!!! How did it perform?? I’m sure it had to be Tuned!!! What buffer and spring combo did you resort to?? What about the trigger??? Does it prefer a certain type of ammo???

  27. Larry Larry Ong on November 8, 2021 at 1:04 am

Maaan… That looks ugly as hell. Nooo Thank Youuu.

  28. Joe Dirt on November 8, 2021 at 1:05 am

    Needs a sba3 ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ

  29. Rickjames The Gunsmith on November 8, 2021 at 1:06 am

Will you be selling this angled foregrip for others to use on their builds?

  30. Truck Driver on November 8, 2021 at 1:08 am

Good vid, but the negative comment is aimed at guntec… why produce a proprietary lock ring and not include a tool to match itโ€™s holes or torque specs? Just plain dumb imo.

  31. Joe Dirt on November 8, 2021 at 1:10 am

I like my barrels short, Short and veiny ๐Ÿ˜

  32. Gordo Castillo on November 8, 2021 at 1:10 am

How much did u spend on the total build?

  33. D. B. on November 8, 2021 at 1:16 am

You wasted all this time building this little crap. ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž

  34. Joseph Freeman on November 8, 2021 at 1:18 am

Thanks for making this video! Great help!

  35. Jim Haderon on November 8, 2021 at 1:18 am

Man, that turned out so nice. I didn’t think I’d like the flat trigger, but it fits the build perfectly.

  36. ty pic on November 8, 2021 at 1:19 am

Where did you get your barrel nut from?

  37. yaj rama on November 8, 2021 at 1:19 am

What kind of handstop is that?

  38. defiantmopar on November 8, 2021 at 1:21 am

What kind of buffer system did you use?

  39. Dennis Earney on November 8, 2021 at 1:22 am

I have 2 questions and I apologize if they have already been answered in a dif comment thread. Have u successfully ran any mags other than OEM? Also is it possible to purchase a hand stop angled forward grip you designed ?

  40. mpholicx2 on November 8, 2021 at 1:22 am

Hard pass on the Gun Tech rail. If you sell a rail with a proprietary barrel nut you NEED to provide a barrel nut tool or make it compatible with an armor’s tool.

  41. Pete on November 8, 2021 at 1:24 am

Have you found any other angled foregrip that would fit that MLOK Rail? Also would you consider selling one that you make? Or selling the 3d plans?

  42. Rodrigo on November 8, 2021 at 1:26 am

Dude. Awesome. Canโ€™t wait to see how it shoots

  43. John Palmer on November 8, 2021 at 1:27 am

What red dot is that you mounted? Looks great.

  44. Direct Impingement on November 8, 2021 at 1:27 am

Watching you tighten that barrel nut made me cringe! I know you can’t use a Bev Block or Reaction Rod in a blow-back PCC but duct tape on your vise jaws? If you build a lot of PCC’s or even AR’s in general you should check out the upper assembly block from PRI: https://www.precisionreflex.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=186606&CAT=4215 Its saved me on a number of builds.

  45. insane931 on November 8, 2021 at 1:27 am

Cool to see it from srRt to finish!

  46. CNT12696 on November 8, 2021 at 1:29 am

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought you couldn’t put a fore grip of any sort on a pistol without classifying it as an sbr or aow first.

  47. blackops84321 on November 8, 2021 at 1:31 am

    79.95 for a 4 inch handguard? What a joke. Let’s get real.

  48. Laboy on November 8, 2021 at 1:32 am

    You talk too much
