How to Create Raised Stencils with Saltwash
How to Create Raised Stencils with Saltwash
Hi I am Jonathon Marc Mendes
I am a furniture artist, blogger and teacher inspiring others in my Painted Love Academy.
I am using lockdown to revisit some of my most popular live video projects and make them into handy how-to projects you can try at home with products that I find useful.
This is one I did when I was in Australia in 2018 where co-hosted the Makers and Painters Market with Annie Sloan. It was a wonderful event at Melbourne Meat Market, a beautiful old building in the city and I got to meet so many of my painting friends from down under. One such friend was Denise from Barleycorn Vintage Stencils. Here we share our skills to create something really fun that you could use on wall plaques or furniture or a wall in your home.
If you want to find out where to buy Saltwash then you can find full here. This is an affiliate link, as I am the global creative ambassador for Saltwash and Carol & Jaime very kindly supply me with Saltwash free of charge http://bit.ly/2MCG4mk
P.S. The original footage was filmed portrait on a iPhone so not ideal for YouTube but the content is really useful so I hope you can forgive me x

Just beautiful! This technique is brilliant, thank you for sharing, extremely helpful!
Jonathan, you need to turn your phone or videocamera so your video fills up the whole screen. We can only see a small portion of the screen.
