Great review! M&p is better out the box and I don’t plan on making any changes. M&p has Better sights, grip, trigger and is more ergonomic at cheaper price.

The whole Glock is a paper weight. The grip angle makes it to where yourb holding and aiming the pistol over center. It’s not natural at all to have to twist your wrist over to aim. John Browning knew what he was doing with the 1911 grip angle that the M2.0 has, meaning a more natural point of aim. Glocks are still all plastic and slides are paper thin. M2.0 is twice the gun and anyone in their right mind would choose the M&P over the paper weight Glock

Hate to be Debbie Downer, but I wanted to point out that Patagonia (your hat) is vehemently anti-POTUS and lobbies against the NRA at nearly every turn. There’s no denying that they make good products, but from a principle standpoint, I would suggest that gun-owners stop supporting them since money talks.

My trigger is great on my M2.0

  5. FAT LOLO on December 11, 2021 at 7:33 pm

I went with a N82 tactical IWB holster and it provides a grate pad between me and the grip

  6. RPMan on December 11, 2021 at 7:34 pm

I did a full polish job on the trigger action on mine. No more gritty take-up, but unlike you, I hated the way the shoe wrapped around my finger. So while I had it out, I took a dremel to the tip of the shoe, and smoothed it with 800 grit sandpaper.
To me, there is no need for the apex, because it feels perfect now. That’s the beauty of individuality.

  7. Orlando McMiller on December 11, 2021 at 7:36 pm

You should try the overwatch Precision base plate for the m and p m2.0 compact. They really lock the gun into your hands

  8. M.L. Evans on December 11, 2021 at 7:36 pm

Love my M&P 2.0c but I’m changing the trigger. It’s just to long for me and the bow to, to deep. Waiting on Apex or someone to do a better trigger. The rest is good.

  9. Sean Go on December 11, 2021 at 7:37 pm

    Very good review…..subbed. 👍🏻

  10. The WAY on December 11, 2021 at 7:38 pm

G19 carries more comfortably, 2.0 Compact shoots more comfortably. Both extremely reliable – so buy both!

  11. Vlad the Impaler on December 11, 2021 at 7:41 pm

Where did you get the glock cerakoted in fde like that? Or did it come like that?
Because all the full fde glocks I’ve looked at so far, the slide fde doesn’t match the frame fde.

  12. CORAL ROCK PLUMBING INC. on December 11, 2021 at 7:41 pm

Very realistic review target and carry!
    Thank you

  13. James Howard on December 11, 2021 at 7:42 pm

How do you feel about the plastic plunger that has the recoil spring on it . Well it looks plastic

  14. J. R. on December 11, 2021 at 7:42 pm

I own both and love both.

  15. Rick 1009 on December 11, 2021 at 7:44 pm

I was impressed with the solid shooting, reliability, and ergos of the 1st gen M&P compact…..sold it because even after sending +1000 rounds downrange, I couldn’t shake the gritty, sandy trigger action. Still ‘gunshy’ about investing in the 2.0 version

  16. Does it Come in 9mm on December 11, 2021 at 7:47 pm

Thanks for the video! I love both, both are fantastic options however, the M&P 2.0 is my preference.

  17. Project Nightwing on December 11, 2021 at 7:49 pm

What Apex trigger kit did you put in? Is it just the Apex M&P Duty/Carry Spring Kit or the Apex Duty/Carry Action Enhancement Kit. I’m looking into getting it but didn’t know what one to get.

  18. Omar Gonzalez on December 11, 2021 at 7:49 pm

And the winner is???? And STILL …. Glock 19 Baby!!!!

  19. Jimmy on December 11, 2021 at 7:51 pm

The more aftermarket support a gun has is just a sign that the gun is flawed in many ways.

  20. Ap A on December 11, 2021 at 7:52 pm

I couldn’t shot my Glock worth a shit but that 2.0 compact I can shot that a lot better so Glock was traded for new m&p 2.0 compact. That was my first Glock and probably my last.

    Good review

  21. Nick Flores on December 11, 2021 at 7:53 pm

are the hackathorn sights the stock sights?

  22. John M on December 11, 2021 at 7:53 pm

What’s the point of watching this “comparison” of these pistols when they have been totally modified? As someone that is seeking information as a normal potential buyer this is a total waste of time. I don’t care about you personal gun Don’t advertise it as a comparison

  23. USMC 1911 on December 11, 2021 at 7:55 pm

N82 holster will fix any aggressive stippling, most comfortable holster I have ever worn at a good price .

  24. Freedom Fighter Brandon Harris on December 11, 2021 at 7:55 pm

Love my M&P 2.0 compact, ran 1000 rds thru it the first week and no malfunctions. About 5000 during the pandemic and still no malfunctions with minimal cleaning.

  25. Charles Jones on December 11, 2021 at 7:58 pm

THREE words – Floyds Custom Magwell = AWESOME!

  26. kingant on December 11, 2021 at 7:58 pm

Love the color on your Glock 19, what color is that? Who did the coating?

  27. Long Beard on December 11, 2021 at 7:59 pm

The lighter trick to the grip is a great idea, thank you (same problem here when I carry) I also took a black permanent marker to the 2 white dots on the stock rear sights, but I still plan on upgrading. Great review

  28. Joshua Leonard on December 11, 2021 at 8:00 pm

I have a m@p 2.0 compact and my Glock 19 was stolen out of my truck

  29. Mark Stanley on December 11, 2021 at 8:02 pm

    Very attractive pistol

  30. J Perry on December 11, 2021 at 8:05 pm

    Great video…thanks!

  31. cowboyborn on December 11, 2021 at 8:06 pm

I do not have the same opinion about the grip. I do not like the flare at the bottom of the Glock Gen 5. I am really a Gen 3 fan. I love the M&P 2.0 compact. Feels perfect in my hand. Don’t get me wrong, I have the Gen 3 Glock 17, 19, & 21SF so I like Glock, but the M&P 2.0 is better in many ways externally and internally. I will not buy the 5 Gen, but own the 2.0s. If I had to buy only one of these two it would be the 2.0.

It’s funny when I hear that someone spent as much or more on parts than the whole gun costs. When you need to pull it to defend yourself, none of these things will matter. As long as the gun is good to start with, or you are a competitive shooter that really benefits from small improvements. After 46 years shooting, the amount of marketing that goes on now is more than ever. People spend a thousand dollars on a 500 dollar gun, only to trade it in on next months new model. Professionals, may do minor external improvements to their duty gun, but almost never change internals. On top of this, if you carry for SD, and you shoot someone with a highly modified pistol, you will be interrogated as to why you made all these changes to a carry gun.

  34. John Smith on December 11, 2021 at 8:07 pm

Well done video. You told me what I wanted to know. Thank you.

  35. GSWguy455 on December 11, 2021 at 8:07 pm

What night sights are good on the M&P 2.0 compact?

  36. Ron Wells on December 11, 2021 at 8:08 pm

Both are quality weapons, why change this and that?Gun manufacturers know what they are doing!!

  37. Tigerblood 230 on December 11, 2021 at 8:10 pm

Have both and love both. I even have the hackathorn sights for the M&P. That orange front sight just grabs my eye for quick acquisition. Both are tremendous options and you can’t go wrong with either

  38. Lilnasty 2988 on December 11, 2021 at 8:10 pm

I know the M&P is a great gun but I just can’t warm up to it enough to buy one! I can’t explain why!

  39. Troy Small on December 11, 2021 at 8:12 pm

I have a m&p compact the only problem I would have is the trigger pull but that would only count in shooting target I have shot charging hogs with my 1911 45 and my 357 u don’t notice trigger pull when u need it only when shooting targets

  40. KSGunGuy on December 11, 2021 at 8:13 pm

    Great stuff!

  41. keith kent on December 11, 2021 at 8:13 pm

Jay a polish job on trigger bar and safety plunger with smooth out the gritty feel in trigger . K

  42. keith kent on December 11, 2021 at 8:14 pm

At least you have shot them enough to know and committed to honest overview .

  43. AJ on December 11, 2021 at 8:15 pm

Well done, sir. Excellent, objective review. One of the best I’ve seen. I had been going back and forth between the M&P 2.0 Compact and the Glock 19 and ended up going with the M&P. I would have been happy with the Glock, too, but I couldn’t pass up $399 for the 2.0 Compact. I’ll probably end up getting a Glock at some point, but verry happy with the 2.0 Compact at that pricepoint.

  44. Ricky V. on December 11, 2021 at 8:16 pm

    1. I put in a Apex Taical Flat Front Trigger Set: Carry/ Springs.
    2. Semi Drop in Barrel, Lock Smith had to file a bit dispite Apex saying , " just a little".

  45. Maximus Joseppi on December 11, 2021 at 8:18 pm

The only reason Glock has so much aftermarket support is cause they suck so bad stock

  46. Leo Guy on December 11, 2021 at 8:18 pm

My stock M&P 2.0 came stocked with an average 4.9 lb trigger pull using my Wheeler Pro trigger pull gauge, have the Glock 19 Gen 3 the M&P 2.0 Compact is now my EDC. Am left handed have no issues with the slide not locking open, usually it’s caused by human error, personally hate ambidextrous slide stops.

  47. Phil D on December 11, 2021 at 8:20 pm

Do you like the finger grooves or no finger grooves?

  48. John Bowman on December 11, 2021 at 8:21 pm

Have you tried shooting it with 17 rounders in to “help” the grip hook feel you were looking for?

  49. Kenneth Williamson on December 11, 2021 at 8:23 pm

I guess it’s personal preference because all the other videos I’ve watched say that the M&P feels a lot better than the Glock in the hand 🤚🏼

  50. Black Ice on December 11, 2021 at 8:24 pm

WHO CARES WHAT DO YOU LIKE. Represent both guns in their original form " out of the box"
