Nikko for me. seems like much better features. But if I had to choose. I would definitely looking for some long term reviews.
What’s a $3500 laser guided double barrel?
This comparison doesn’t make much sense. Nikko stopped making guns in mid/late 80’s. This is a comparison between new and old and the nikko is better everyday of the week and 2 times on sunday
I like the Nikko be nice if it just hade extractacters
Try comparing it to the silver reserve 2 sport.
I’m here in philipilpines how can buy a nikko
The nikko is basically the twin sister to a winchester 101- except they kept the better wood for the nikko’s. They are an excellent gun and even ones 30 years old are better quality than most entry levels today. I’d run a nikko over the likes of a cz redhead 24/7
Have a Silver Reserve II. Like just fine ☺️.
WHY ARE WE YELLING
I have heard that you shouldn’t dry fire a double barrel shotgun . Neither the side by side or a over under. Snap caps !
Instead of: Switching guns every couple of seconds….and noting: " This One…" please use the make of the gun. You are switching so fast,- and calling them, " This one" that it is a bit confusing.
Thank you— id probably see relatively lite use with the budget and then invest in something like a Citori or Beretta.
I would be putting some grease in my mossberg
How can i buy the Nikko shotgun from you guys?
If you are going to choose between them 2. Choose the Nikko every time. You wont regret the extra cost if you get the moss you will regret not spending more.
Nikko for me and if I was to go with a less expensive o/u I would go with the Stevens by Savage. Nice fit and come up easy. But when it comes down to it you need a shotgun to fit you.
I need upsidedown . WTF
How much is the nico
Nikko was involved with the production of the Winchester 101’s . Winchester provided Nikko with designs, wood selection and Nikko built 101’s for Winchester.
Nikko took advantage of the situation to keep the best wood for their Nikko brand shotguns . Winchester found out Nikko was doing this and there were issues. Nikko made the Golden Eagle with the best wood and provided Winchester with the lesser quality wood on the 101’s.
So Nikko has some rough history but I would easily take a Nikko over the Mossberg. It’s not even close.
Nikko really do make great shotguns for a reasonable price.
I am personally a Beretta and Browning fan. I also love the Red Labels from Ruger. But like I said I would take the Nikko home and would never even consider the Mossberg at all.
Another brand which really make some pretty nice shotguns is Yildiz. They are quite reasonable for the quality.
like to find a nikko ive been on a double barrel kick.
nicely done young Chap..
Where do you even find Nikko shotguns? They don’t seem to exist other than the occasional used one that turns out to be sold.
This one can’t fire upside down, this one will, this one is cheaper, this one is smoother. WTF are you talking about? This is the least informative ass backward video I’ve ever seen. I’m not interested is seeing you. Thanks for holding up the guns for a second so we can see part of them without knowing which one. I was hoping to get some information from this video but it’s worthless. I m only wasting the time typing this because I’m pissed off that I wasted this time.Fukkin horrible. Fukkin idiotic!
Having owned a Nikko I can tell you it is a high quality gun. Certainly equal to a Winchester 101 or lower grade Berettas.
Just say jewel and put "ree" on the end of it.
I think the Mossberg is probably the only option for trap because are going to need exchangeable chokes (3/4 or full I believe).
I don’t know which shotgun you are talking about the entire video. When you hold it up and say this shotgun it would help to say the brand name.
The Nikko could still hold its own for a gun made in the 1960s? Especially against a brand new Mossberg Silver Reserve. I did not realize that the Nikko has a mechanical reset but all the better. Now do a review about the Husqvarna in the background.lol
Nikko sounded nice.Do they still make them?
i have a SR older version not the 2, works great, only issue was a broken firing pin which mossberg replaced for free, as a matter of fact they sent both, newer design, well over 3000+ round through the gun, used mainly for trap
É uma arma muito linda
I ‘d go with a stoeger or ata overunder
I bought the Mossberg in 20 Ga.and the firearm cracked at welds between barrels at receiver pos -cabelas exchanged
Nice, I hunt a lot of pheasant. I might order the Nikko from you guys. It looks like a nice gun for my lady guests.
I would never consider a Mossberg (and I mean ANY model) made after 1975 and I don’t care what marketing name they put on it (‘SILVER’ Reserve??… Really??) OR their prices… This video continues to vindicate me in my position on that.
Thank you. A very fair way of comparison. I would definitely go with Nikko.
I am looking to getting Into trap shooting and I am looking into a double barrel but I only have about 400 bucks to spend what do you recommend ?
If you’re the type to sell things then Mossberg. If you keep things long term then Nikko..
Entry shotguns in Europe are bakial or at
Thanks for the video, Nikko Huh? Sounds good. If i may, Can you just build a stand out of 2×3 and have both gun displayed on video as you talk? i find that picking 1 up then briefly setting it down just to constantjy do that is a little bothersome. sorry but i prefer seeing them displayed on an improvised stand. thanks again
I’d just go for a Beretta
question
which one do you suggest a Benelli L or Winchester 101 both over and under Thank you
I can’t find anywhere to buy the nikko
Where are you supposed to get a Nikko in California?
The Nikko is out of production so any comparisons are kind of irrelevant. Still some good points to consider. Thanks for the vid.
These are both barely “entry level”
Did you compare the ease of opening a new gun versus a used one? Bruv.
I would buy both.
The Nikko Shadows are very good quality guns but they are quite old now and haven’t been produced for decades, finding spare parts can be challenging. They can suffer from “ejector splay” where the ejectors bend outwards so it bypasses the spent cartridge leaving it jammed inside the barrel, you have to be careful about the type of cartridges you use in them.
All I heard was "get the nikko"
