I got one but where can I get the mags it only came with one I wanted to have 3
I love this gun. I went to the store with the intent to buy the G3 and left with this gun. I have hand gun in which I have paid $500 to 800 for but for some reason this is my favorite. I may change the sights in the future but that’s it… This gun is Accurate. TAURUS g2c is another that I love.
Got mine in November for $229, shot nice and felt good in the hand. My issue was with the finish, it wasn’t blued properly and I kept having issues with rust in one spot on the slide. Taurus does warranty the finish for 1 year but when I did what they asked me for it as far as emailing pictures they never got back with me. In the end I ended up paying to have the slide cerakoted, unfortunately I won’t buy another Taurus because of it.

The 809&809c are great pistols. I have both and trust them fully. I did what I always do when buying a pistol, I get extra (5-6) mags for every one. Glad I have this habit because there are NO 809 Mags anywhere. I have searched every site…NONE. No way I would dig through the piles of various mags at a gun show. My advice with Taurus, get you extra mags ASAP. Great video, thanks.

Thanks for the review. I have one of those and it’s a nice shooter the recoil is very low. The did discontinue it but they came out with a new updated version of it I think it’s called a th809. I want the compact one of that pistol. Be safe
I have the FDE 809 & a all black 809c Both are GREAT pistols. I own 9 Taurus handguns out of 22 and no problems with any Taurus. One thing I do with all my purchases is I immediately buy extra mags. Case in point. NO 809 mags anywhere. Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it.
I’ve put well over 1000 rounds through mine with little problem. It is my first and only gun. I’ve had a few fail to eject early on but that was on me. Yes the gun has been discontinued but the replacement, the Th9, is basically the same gun with a few differences. (Mec-gar mags, grips, and I suppose some internals). But looks pretty much the same.
Does anyone know where to get extra magazine for this pistol? or if any other magazine will fit an function properly? ?

Show the trigger reset by holding the trigger down racking the slide and letting the trigger out slowly until it clicks that will be the trigger reset it’s good to show that so people can see how short the reset is I have one of these guns and the trigger reset its excellent so when firing it’s extremely fun to ride the reset good review though
Paid $230 for mine. Can’t find magazines for it tho. They just came out with the TH9 . Witch is the same as the 809 but just a little longer barrel.
What is the proper weight of ammunition in the pistol taurus pt 809E 115 GRAIN or 124GRAIN please answer

I have PT 809 compact it’s a little bit lighter has 13 round and 17 round mag for full size grip owned mines for several years now great firearm use it for my edc
