Are upgraded M&P triggers a lot better than an upgraded Glock trigger such as, a Johnny Glock trigger?
I would sell my soul, he he if that was a thing, for one of those, forget the red dot, dont care about it
Can you buy just the slide or you gotta buy the whole firearm ?
I’d grab one if I could find one..local fun stores only seem to have G42 G43 G48 available and I have no interest in any of them. Check out Boresight Solutions, I here he can tune these triggers so they’re absolutely incredible.
I think the M&P pistol line is good (I have a few). I don’t like some of the aesthetics though. The fish scale cocking serrations are just goofy and the hinged trigger is just unnecessary
Which holosun optic are running on it?
He isnt giving the m and p near enough credit, they are superior.
Is there a metal adapter plate you’d recommend (for Holosun 507c)? Not crazy about the polymer plate that comes with CORE pistols.
S&W armonite finish is definitely legit. I have a MP15 2 and it has been ran hard for years but still looks like new when cleaned up.
Man I miss my smith full size but it was top heavy and I switched to my Glock 17 and its best for me…but I wish the M&P fit me better it looks better lol
The funny thing is I’m pretty sure it’s dang near the same size as a Glock 19 with 2 more rounds
I have the M&P shield 2.0, the best gun is the one you know how to use and is dependable! Best shot is the one that hits first..
I remember complaining about slide release on my gen 1 shield. And smith saying that it’s a slide stop/catch it was never designed as a slide release.
This is my exact setup. I love it. Even the Holosun and light. I’d really like your opinion on a holster. I don’t have any experience and would hate to waste my money searching for the best fit.

What would you prefer for EDC between the compact M&P 4inch Optic Ready or Sig P365 XL? I’m new to EDC and love how the M&P feels but don’t know how hard it will be to conceal over the P36XL.

Agreed on the trigger, much better now then the early 2.0s. With the release of the shield plus, make me wonder if the new texture and trigger will carry over to the 3.0 series if that is ever a thing.

I had one. It was the performance center. Awesome weapon. Wish I still had it. It got stolen in Nashville. Food for thought, If you leave your truck parked in Nashville, Take everything out of your truck and leave the doors unlocked, that way they dont break your windows. I hate a thief .
With the annoying registration laws in Hawai’i and now having to schedule an appointment (spots are 3 months out) I think I’ll just send off my slide to be milled. I have the tan 5” 2.0.
@tacticalconsiderations any suggestions on a company to mill? Where did you send your compact?

After I get my M17 off layaway I’m getting an OR M&P. Smith and Wesson M&P is better than the VP9 and CZp10c in my opinion. Good metal mags at half the price of hk,Sig,and CZ. A normal mag release and low bore axis.

Love the review! I bought my first M&P 8 years ago, have never looked back to glock. Now I own all size in the 2.0 line up. Best with a APEX!
