I have one I use for hogs. Excellent weapon. Sort of a bully of a gun if you aren’t used to shooting larger caliber semi autos. Very accurate for short, quick shots. Be careful deciding on this over an AR 15. Totally different and WAY more expensive to shoot.

  2. L Karamazov on June 22, 2023 at 4:58 am

The accuracy!!! I don’t put steel in my rifles.

  3. Joel Copeland on June 22, 2023 at 4:59 am

    What scope are you using?

  4. Brian Smith on June 22, 2023 at 5:00 am

    I want one

  5. Eli In the Wolverine State on June 22, 2023 at 5:00 am

Got a bca 12.5 pinned. I only feed It wolf and tula steel cased. One of my cheap pro mags had a bur so last 5 rounds didn’t want to feed.

  6. Chuck Allison on June 22, 2023 at 5:02 am

Recommendations for a decent all around scope?

  7. Javascript Kiddie on June 22, 2023 at 5:02 am

    Sounds amazing!

  8. lemmdus on June 22, 2023 at 5:02 am

Got one this past summer. Put on a new stock with recoil pad. Need to install muzzle break and scope

    Dude that was awesome.

  10. CaptainCondor on June 22, 2023 at 5:03 am

Glad to know the groups are good and there is no POI shift at 25 yards, lol. Sheesh.

  11. David Faria on June 22, 2023 at 5:06 am

Love Smith and Wesson I love my little M & P sport but Ruger has a new SFAR out that I think it’s gonna be the way to go, I know this is an old video

  12. Jay M. on June 22, 2023 at 5:06 am

Say hello to my little friend.

  13. grabir01 on June 22, 2023 at 5:06 am

Armalite runs them all no problem. S&W needs to fix this problem with their AR10’s so they too can run it all with no problems. Areo Precision may be a good choice as they run them all too. When it comes to survival, you need a weapon that can run em all!! No problems.

  14. Chuck Miller on June 22, 2023 at 5:06 am

I have a M&P MP10 AR same one you’re shooting, and it is freaking awesome, and it is dead on straight out of the box. I’m wanting to change the break out, what break are you using? I shoot the 762 51s because they’re cheaper and I love shooting them. Thank you for this video.

There is a YouTuber out there saying that the gun industry is lying to us by making us buy more rifles because of YouTubers like you. But he is wrong that is a beautiful rifle but nothing you say will convince me to buy this rifle (yes your review will convince me this is a great choice)even if I want one really bad and I do want a nice 308 rifle. The price will stop me from buying one until I win the lottery.

  16. Rudy Hinson on June 22, 2023 at 5:07 am

You have to use good quality ammo in it because it is under gassed because of the poor quality ammo..

  17. DJ TWELVE TWENTY on June 22, 2023 at 5:10 am

I want one but dam a box of 20 308 is 25 bucks right now where I’m at! Ouch 😣

  18. Andrew Munchkin on June 22, 2023 at 5:11 am

    Its perfect.

  19. jason b on June 22, 2023 at 5:13 am

When you said sick ass nasty accurate I gave a thumbs up

  20. d7dun1010 on June 22, 2023 at 5:17 am

Got the original version shortly after it was introduced quite a few ago now.
It has been outstanding and eats all that is fed, including a lot of Wolf and Bear .308s with no problems whatsoever.
It eventually needed new gas rings and S&W fell down a bit in getting me new ones.
They seemed to have no solution for replacing the gas rings. I ragged on them a bit and insisted they send a new bolt or BCG?
Shortly thereafter, they found a way and sent me new gas rings.
Since then, it has been excellent.
Shot it just yesterday and I am still thrilled I have it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  23. SgtThump on June 22, 2023 at 5:21 am

At 8:00…. I think the styrofoam peanuts are reacting to the bipod?

  24. Blue Moon on June 22, 2023 at 5:22 am

You are an expert shooter that knows his BRASS … Breath ,, Relax ,, Aim ,, Sight ,, SQUEEZE. 🤙 .

  25. Justin Brah on June 22, 2023 at 5:23 am

Short stroking on the steel case stuff?

  26. Hank on June 22, 2023 at 5:24 am

Poor trigger discipline. Running a review on a heavily modified non-stock gun, not using STANAG or at least Magpul mags. Just not good.

  27. g3attack on June 22, 2023 at 5:24 am

WoW! Sucks that it will not run steel! I went and shot my Saint Victor today and it ran both brass and steel. Great Video!

  28. Vernon Bruce on June 22, 2023 at 5:25 am

I would sub your channel, but I don’t like your language. I have an AR-10 M&P S&W .308 that I purchased in 2015. Retirement present for myself. It is the most accurate rifle I have ever shot. It does not like the cheap ammo though. But, I wouldn’t want to dishonor such a fine weapon by running the cheap stuff through it. It absolutely loves the Winchester 150gr or 180 grain power point or extreme point ammo. It is heavy, especially using it to hunt deer with. But, I love my M&P .308!

    1000th like*

  30. Luda S on June 22, 2023 at 5:29 am

This review is the reason I purchased this rifle and gotta say I love it

  31. John Hall on June 22, 2023 at 5:30 am

I have the Volunteer X and put an eotech EXPS-2 green with G33 magnifier on it and it is just the BEST thing since sliced bread. I hate putting it down. It’s so accurate, it’s fun, it’s big and heavy and makes you know it’s a man’s gun. Absolutely worth having one, if there’s anything you can trust to protect your family it is S&W.

  32. Drago Kulic on June 22, 2023 at 5:30 am

What muzzle device is that and what scope is that?

  33. Brian on June 22, 2023 at 5:31 am

FYI this is the MP10 Sport. Not to be confused with the "Performance" model. Which has a superior hand guard and a much better design.

  34. Paul LeBon on June 22, 2023 at 5:31 am

For a channel with 41K subscribers, this is some high level production.

  35. Exercise N Freedom on June 22, 2023 at 5:33 am

I sold mine to build an aero m5. That ended up being too big and heavy, so I sold that and bought a ruger SFAR. I LOVE my sfar but I’ll admit, I wish I still had my M&P 10. Also had no problem running steel cased ammo through it.

  36. Rudy Hinson on June 22, 2023 at 5:36 am

I deer hunt with mine in heavy wooded area. It works like a champ.

  37. Jeff Bradley on June 22, 2023 at 5:39 am

If a firearm cant cycle steel you bought the wrong one.

  38. Ragnarok on June 22, 2023 at 5:42 am

Awsome rifle, ive got the hk mr308 – but what i can see i would bought one of those instead, the mr308 is almost two lb heavier than this one, and what is the difference between the Hk vs the smith, i dont really see any, exept the smith is lighter wich i like

  39. Mike E on June 22, 2023 at 5:43 am

Love this vid!! Btw…. You look like triple HHH

  40. Stephen Lepek on June 22, 2023 at 5:44 am

What is added to that AR10?

  41. Glen Pollard on June 22, 2023 at 5:44 am

Mine runs anything. But I won’t run steal. Gums up the chamber. I’ve killed a lot of pigs with it.

  42. Steve McClaran on June 22, 2023 at 5:47 am

Great video.Thank you.I’ve got my dealer looking for one.

  43. ForgivenByJesus on June 22, 2023 at 5:48 am

I was looking to purchase this from their Performance Center but the Ruger SFAR came out before I found one.

Awesome review. I have been contemplating buying one. You helped me make my mind up. Thanks again.

  46. J. Allen on June 22, 2023 at 5:53 am

I see so many reviews about shooting this gun during the break in period and issues with steel ammo. Seriously folks, WHY bother with a .308 and then go cheap on ammo. This makes no sense. Buy a turbo sports car and then run 93 octane? Before you blast this post of course this is not a premium rifle, however it IS probably one of the most outstanding AR10 out there for the price vs what you get out of it. As a veteran I don’t understand why you would want to run cheap Russian or other ‘Stan variant ammo out of this rifle.

  47. Timothy Barrett on June 22, 2023 at 5:53 am

I appreciate the boots on the ground NO BS review of the S&W 308. I was lookin at this weapon as well as other 308’s being a S&W fan. Thanks for sharing your experience great vid

Would like for you to review the M&P10 SPORT 16" barrel. Few reviews and of those several talk about the gas ports and ftf, like you had. I bought The Sport thinking I’d save $500 over the 18" and everything else would be the same but am afraid there are gas port problems and I dumped $1000. Enjoyed this review though.
