It’s pronounced mushed nugget.
That’s not cheap 300 dollars
Could you please send those as a gift. Our Civilian Defense Force, lack in Arms, We need to"Deleted", Some naughty Corruptors in our kountry, Lost Continental Islandia.. Due to our Law Enforcement Official, cannot do anything to erased it. We also need Guillotine Blades, to cutting thise bastards neck instantly without hasitate… including their family members, pets etc…etc….until nothing left behind….,!!! 😎💣🔥
$400-$600 These Mosin prices than I have seen in Gunbrokers for a crude manufactured rifle like the Mosin Nagant is excessive, especially when there are Spanish and Turkish Mauser of better quality and lower prices than a Mosin Nagant out there. This glorification of the Nagant after the movie enemy of the gates is baseless.
I want to sell my nambu its been interesting and belongs to a collector
Mosins *may* be cheap again. Once the conflict in the Ukraine ends it’s possible some remaining Mosins(whatever is left) will be shipped to the US again. Or if the importation sanctions on Russia are removed(press x for doubt)
For a Decade or so after the Fall of the Soviet Union, all of this Euro and former East Block Surplus stuff was ridiculously inexpensive, and super abundant, sadly this era is long gone, I could see this stuff almost being given away at gun stores and shows, but its all over now 😪😫😥🙄
Got my 91/59 carbine for $79 in the late 90s
I baught a m44 mosin from my grandpa for 60 bucks it is in pretty rouph shape it is my favorite gun considering I only have 2
I first heard about The Mosin Crate through @Mike B YouTube channel. If you like military surplus firearms and equipment check out his channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKX0kmzrmD5WvwqpQ06mwCw
GOOd
Guess for a first gun for me would be a ruger since they’re around 309 bucks. 🙁 the Mosin looks nice though.
When I was 18 years old in 2002 I bought two Turkish Mausers and a mosin for $70 each. One of the Mausers was a real Turk and the other was a Brno. 70rd bandoliers of the Turkish surplus 8mm were $5 in those days. That was good for an afternoon of busting rocks. Ah, those were the days…
I just got a cz 82 in very good condition
Only real value an old Mosin has is if it’s accurate enough to be a sniper’s rifle. But how many old Mosin has such accuracy?
I don’t know why people are so fixated on collectable firearms. I’m just out here looking for a decent surplus pistol that is reliable and affordable.
In Canada Type 54s are still only $220, Tt33 go up to $450, Mosins are $450-500 and standard Russian SKS is about $550 now, cz 75 $600, beretta f92 italian police surplus are like $500, lots of good deals still to be had but not much under the $200-300 mark anymore
In Norway, the most common surplus rifle is the Norwegian Krag-Jørgensen, chambered in 6.5×55 scandinavian. Great rifle, great cartridge, suuper smooth bolt. And you can get one up here for around 200-300 dollars if I’m correct
Where co or can you find this stuff,I’m in w.v I’ve not came across this ! I’m a collector
Rather than throw away $400 on a Bulgarian Makarov, I think I’d get a CZ 82, which uses a dual column magazine and can safely be used with +P++ Czech Makarov ammo. It’s a Cold War Classic too . . . and it won’t jam on hollowpoints.
Yeah but it’s hard to find a surplus gun with correct parts and not a random gun around a receiver
Absolutely recc the TT… Those things are notorious for their power & still most ballistic manufacturers do not design their vests to stop the still prevalent 7.62 Tokarov. Some do, but not most.
I personally haven’t seen $300 Chinese SKSs but hey.
I have seen century arms mosin nagant imports that were NIB drenched in cosmoline… They were going dirt cheap then vanished from the local shops. When I asked one owner when he expected more, he said he didn’t. Mosins sold terribly in our urban area, compared to Glocks & Low end AR15s. They sold what they had for like $175 each & that was it
Very nice 👌 collection.
About 20 years ago I purchased a Bulgarian Circle 10 9×18 Makarov with leather case & cleaning rod for less than $100.00.
How do you make your Tok shine like that?
I bought a k98 for $200 bucks a million years ago
where are we finding these anymore? all dried up

I’m looking for a 1932 jungle carbine 303
Saw a mosin for $500 and an enfield for 800. Not affordable as far as i can see
How much is that sir? I am from philippines
just ordered a beretta m1951 for 300
im fucking 19 and cant buy shit
Goddamn it would be great if i could own them in the first place
Arisakas might just be the most overlooked surplus gun out there. My personal belief is the scarce ammo drives people away
I got my Finnish moist nugget for like$59 back in the day
I can’t believe you mentioned the Nagant. I have a 1912 7.62×54. I have been told it was considered a snipers rifle. I have a 1942 .308, not a remington but american. I also have a 1941 303 British which I love. I have a Ruger P95dc, love it. But these rifles aren’t collectible I don’t think. No Ar’s here but I sure as hell would not want a hole poked in me by any of these.
in Europe we throw away Makarows for 50 bucks!
I have a 1934 303 British long .
Kinda screws the gun when you have to put a safety on it to import it. crazy especially when there is a half cock safety. In Canada we don’t do that. I have a Chinese Type 54 no safety.
Had one but got stolen & last seen in Ohio
thank god I got my tokarev
If only I could buy em without a license I’d totally go for it
My dad gave me my first gun it was a 1931 mosin with bayonet, sling, and ammo pouch. He purchased it many years ago at fleet farm in Minnesota for 75$ . My hope is to one day find a tt33 or any tokarev variant as well a ppsh41 or 43 to complete the ww2 Russian collection
I think the future of surplus are police trade ins. Not really the same thing as the Cold War surplus we are used to, but there are still some cool pieces coming in from foreign police forces. The Israeli Jericho 941 F’s, the Beretta 92S’s, etc.
mo-sin nagant or moseen nagan?
I’m sad it took me so long to find a channel called The Mosin Crate.
Beretta 81s and 84s are so nice.
Love mine, so glad I got such a nice piece for around $200 plus shipping etc.
everyone in the comments section:
back in the 1980s…
I have wanted a Luger and a Mauser C96 ever since I was a kid.
