The thing I like about this knife is that in a non life-threatening self-defense situation, you don’t HAVE to use the blade , as the sturdiness of it means you can use it as a “hand pack” for punching , or even use the glass-breaker to give someone an incapacitating strike to the skull/temple , the thing’s built like a tank

Anyone know the screw specs for the knife handle? Mine flew away and I’m trying to find replacements.

    I own an m&p ar15 and an m&p .40, and a standard Smith & wesson tactical foldable knife with a tanto blade, I think i like m&p

When I bought this knife the switch never worked and thought it was an aesthetic piece.

Jak je to s výdrží ostří tohoto nože v polních podmínkách? Uvažuji že bych si ho pořídil na pochody divočinou a potřeboval bych aby vydržel ostry alespoň tyden používání v lese.

Smith and Wesson just had these on clearance for $15.97 each and with total tax was $18.03 with free shipping. So I ordered 4 of them… also got this today. Just picked one up for $13.31.

the S&W M&P series is a pleasant surprise for me. I got 2 knifes from the series, SWMP3B and SWMP9BS and i love them.
The steel ain’t something to write home about, but they are build like tanks. Really sturdy and reliable.

this is in fact an assisted open blade, since it is not held in place by a spring. The level you press with your thumb opens the blade via a spring, but only to assist. Switch blades have a button to press and the blade pops up, and a spring holds it down. In this knife, the button you press switches the knife up with force and the spring kicks in only when the blade is in motion.
