That seems to be the for any handgun having trouble loading rounds. Great info. Thanks.

  2. John Easton on June 1, 2023 at 4:39 am

The consumers shouldn’t have to fix it, the people that manufacture the firearms and take your money should fix it when they’re manufacturing the guns don’t spend your money on Tauruses

Thank you for making this video. I bought 2 of these guns both have the same issue.

  6. Brian Carroll on June 1, 2023 at 4:44 am

But when the cavity of the hollow point catches on the bottom of the feed ramp (like mine) it doesn’t matter how much you polish it.

Se puede poner Un switch al g3c?

  8. Patricia Burleson on June 1, 2023 at 4:45 am

This man is right!!! I had the same problem and I polished it all up it works like a charm!!!

  9. Zozo Art Studio on June 1, 2023 at 4:46 am

I have that problem too. It only works when I rack it with some strength.

  10. rawvoodoo on June 1, 2023 at 4:47 am

I had problems with hollow points too. However, my problem was that they would not go all the way into the chamber. They stuck out about 1mm more than fmj. When I tried to load one it would lock up the entire pistol and ejecting it took a lot of effort. They got really stuck in the chamber. I ended up having to get an aftermarket barrel and that solved my issue.

  15. E Jackson on June 1, 2023 at 4:53 am

    Polish it with what ???

  16. RUReadyDontBL8 on June 1, 2023 at 4:55 am

Thank you for the video. I have several different handguns – Sig, Taurus, S&W, Ruger and CZ. I noticed on my CZP07 (which I bought used) the feed ramp is longer then the other 9MM and it came polished. No problems feeding ammo. Can someone share how to polish the feed-ramp what tool? ,

  17. 40hours56 on June 1, 2023 at 4:56 am

That Bushnell red dot failed twice on my gun.

  18. Mr Design on June 1, 2023 at 4:57 am

had the same issue with the g3x but it solved itself after putting 50 rounds through it while the taurus g series is built exaclty like glock it has a bit longer on the "break in" period

  19. Tactical Barber pewlife on June 1, 2023 at 4:58 am

Thank you cuz i just bought one & ive seen alot of videos about the issue, the G3 dosent have the issue but the G3c does for some reason but maybe it wont lets see when i pick it up

Boricua. Great video. Keep it up..

  22. MikeWil Est.1986 on June 1, 2023 at 5:01 am

My g3c doesn’t have any problems eating any jhp that I put through it, but my g3 is a different story. Saw a thread on Reddit that suggested polishing the feed ramp with a metal polishing compound and a dremel, so I tried it. 30 seconds later, the hollow points cycle through without any problem at all.

  23. John Long on June 1, 2023 at 5:03 am

    Thanks Angel,

I just did get a Taurus G2c and will follow your advise and polish a bit with a Dremel or so.

Your English is about better than mine being a "Kraut" (German), don’t worry about that
    and enjoy safe shooting!

  24. dlvmark on June 1, 2023 at 5:03 am

  26. Marcus Johnson on June 1, 2023 at 5:06 am

thanks for the video…I’ve had mine for a year now and encountered the same problems…I’ll try it out and see how it fairs.

  27. pwrshots on June 1, 2023 at 5:07 am

Boricua ,just got back from the range. Gun (G3C) was shooting fine. Then a round jammed in the chamber. That second strike BS did not work. The trigger was locked as if the safety was on. Checked the safety. It was off. tried to fire again and the trigger was locked. removed the magazine. Tried ejecting the round but the slide was locked. I kept the gun pointed down range . I then decided to remove the slide by pulling down on the two tabs to try and remove the slide. The damn thing went off. i cannot trust this gun. Even if it was a bad round, it should not have gone off. Btw, the gun was cleaned prior to shooting it. About 500 rounds through it. Going to reach out to Taurus. btw, fmj 124 grain used. no hollow point

  28. James D. on June 1, 2023 at 5:07 am

Finally got mine running like a champ. I had "polished" the feed ramp before, but this time I got it to a chrome like reflective appearance.

Then hit that central support feed ramp. Man, that was the key. Thanks so much for the tip.

  29. JP 823 on June 1, 2023 at 5:10 am

Thanks for the fix! I took my G3c out for the first one and had FTF issues with ball ammo. Definitely doing the polish work when I break it down for a thorough clean. Thanks again, Angel!

  30. roto on June 1, 2023 at 5:11 am

I found that just racking it real hard to get the first one in works just fine

  31. MidniteSociety on June 1, 2023 at 5:12 am

I’m a new gun owner and I bought the G3c for my first gun. I bought hollow points and I have noticed a hang up on the first round when I load it. So what exactly did you polish it with?

  32. Robmancan1987 on June 1, 2023 at 5:12 am

Those soft brass casings love when you do this to them. Now look at the little ejector nicks on your bullet. In the future when you have a failure to eject with these bullets. Remember this moment 😂. You chamber a bullet too many times and you can actually cause the round to be over pressured. You can spot these rounds because they’ll be a little shorter than the others hahaha. You live and learn.

  33. farewellvoyager on June 1, 2023 at 5:12 am

No need to apologize for your English my friend, it’s better than most native born Americans. Thanks for the tip!

Estoy por comprar una taurus g3c xl pero tengo mucha duda con relación al problema de alimentación por la rampa.. saludos desde Puerto Rico

    Gracias pa! Buenísima solución… 👍

  37. Al Lo on June 1, 2023 at 5:20 am

Don’t apologize for your English hermano! The video is excellent and very much appreciated!

  38. Joe King on June 1, 2023 at 5:22 am

The fixes seem to be 600 grit wool or paper to the feed ramp, carry with one in the chamber, or carry a FMJ with the first round.

  39. Love Powers on June 1, 2023 at 5:23 am

Muchas gracias por este video, te lo agradezco muchisimo!🇵🇷✌🏽💜

  40. Tara Dactyl on June 1, 2023 at 5:24 am

The part on the barrel is called the feed ramp. It is a common fix to polish them with a dremel too and a felt pad and compound. Also this happens more with new guns, as a gun breaks in this problem subsides. This happens frequently with .22 pistols.

  41. dlvmark on June 1, 2023 at 5:25 am

in competition we called that a reliability tune. this included a polished feed ramp, flared ejection port and a trigger job.

  42. Jonathan Vancura on June 1, 2023 at 5:25 am

I don’t normally make a point to like a video, but when I do… It’s because my new friend has fixed my favorite gun.

  43. Bill23799 on June 1, 2023 at 5:28 am

    Thanks

  44. G B on June 1, 2023 at 5:29 am

Great video of the gun, that I’ve lately been thinking of buying. Your English is EXCELLENT, you don’t need to apologize, especially since you’re from PR. Too many people don’t understand, or they don’t want to recognize that being born in Puerto Rico makes you an American citizen… as American as a fat old man who was born in Seattle. Let’s see more videos of yours.
