Chris is a known Glock fanboy. So what happens when a Glock fanboy finally buys an M&P? Apparently he realizes it’s better out of the box than a Glock.

I was an early adopter of the 2.0 compact when it came out and haven’t looked back since. I can honestly say the only malfunctions I have experienced in my practice/training have been directly related to debris being in the gun due to adverse conditions.

  2. Javier Mulero on April 29, 2023 at 3:51 am

If you had to pick between the pdp compact or the m&p 2.0 optics ready which one would you pick ?

  3. Joshua Bailey on April 29, 2023 at 3:51 am

No iron sights with a chinese red dot… Sure hope this isn’t your EDC that you trust you and your families lives with.

  4. Ass Clapper on April 29, 2023 at 3:52 am

I switched to an M&P 2.0 and haven’t looked back

  5. SKnightfb32 on April 29, 2023 at 3:52 am

Left my Glock for the M&P 2.0. Hate to say it but it’s true 🤷🏻‍♂️ after good amount of rounds and replaced the trigger with an Apex. Now I think it’s the superior striker fired 🙃

  6. B.C. on April 29, 2023 at 3:57 am

I don’t own any s&w models. I do have Glock though. Looking into a m&p model. Great review.

  7. Hyena Arms on April 29, 2023 at 3:57 am

I’m a big revolver guy and after selling all of my 9mm handguns and only having my 1911 as an autoloading handgun for a minute there I found myself staring at the Spec Series Bull shark Edition.

Well fork, I’ve been talking up M&P’s 2.0 line of 10mm and other stuff. I thought it was time to put my money where my mouth was…and it’s only been 4 days and I have over 800rds through it. It absolutely rocks and I have a 5inch slide on the way for it.

Trigger pull went from 5lbs 14ozs new to 4lbs 8.9oz after said round count.

For being my only striker fired and poly framed gun, I’m beyond happy with it. Not as accurate as my revolvers, not as comfortable as my 1911 to carry but it’s a really fun side hoe I’m going to use and put away dirty.

  8. NationalRaifuAssociation on April 29, 2023 at 3:57 am

I dropped a G34 connector and slide release onto my G17.4.
Aside from a retro backing plate which is purely aesthetic, and is very aesthetic, everything on it is factory. Something M&P really suffered with was the shittiest trigger shoe design in the history of mankind, but it’s been fixed thankfully.

  9. Sean G on April 29, 2023 at 3:58 am

Please, what safariland holster is that? Their website is so confusing with all the part and accessory numbers.
I need one for my m&p

I have owned Glocks since the early 90’s. 12+ years ago I wanted to try a M&P, soon started replacing the Glocks with M&P’s. I have the first 2 full size M&P 9mm I purchased, both with several thousand rounds of mostly steel case ammo through them, not an issue with either. All are 100% stock except sights. I have one full size 9mm that I wanted to see how long it would run before cleaning, it was still cycling fine but I felt bad because it was so nasty and decided to clean it, don’t know how many thousand rounds had been through it prior to that cleaning. I basically have a line up of M&P 9mm and 45 ACP, my wife carries a performance center shield and a M&P 9c. They just run! And to the comment on the finish, I have the M&P’s I have let other people shoot also for thousands of rounds and I have daily carried some for a couple years, the finish holds up great.

I like a review where I can agree and accept and also be like lol these fckin guysss

  14. ken nall on April 29, 2023 at 4:05 am

Brother I have the same set up. Just curious what holster are you using. I would love to get the same one. And will the holster work on a safariland midride droplet configuration?

  15. KH1 on April 29, 2023 at 4:05 am

Yawn.Another basement commando practicing for an event that will only happen in his imagination.

  16. Jacob Siekmann on April 29, 2023 at 4:06 am

Glock needs to innovate on the next gen. A PCC would also be dope

  17. Life is to short got to be optimistic on April 29, 2023 at 4:06 am

I love m&ps not so much glocks i always recommend both to new shooters because how easy they are to learn on. Staccato has took me to a new love and has become my favorite. But the best gun to shoot is the one you train on and feel comfortable with.

  18. Venom GT72 on April 29, 2023 at 4:07 am

Pretty simple…when your electronic sight stops working.Iron sights will be become your primary way to aim. Not Rocket science guys. Take your red dot off and go to the range and shoot 25 yards. STOP …… Forget that thought. I dont want you getting kicked off the range for being the safety violator.

  19. PotatoPotahto on April 29, 2023 at 4:08 am

Was strongly looking into this gun but has anyone noticed how difficult the slide release is to manipulate on an empty mag? Like it’s so stiff I could barely send the slide forward unless I pull it back a little first then it sends forward. Is it the stopper in the mag that’s making it like that? Am I crazy?

  20. Average Dad Projects on April 29, 2023 at 4:08 am

I respect your up front, blunt, in your face, real reviews and opinions, whether agreed upon or not. Idk if you guys have but I think you guys should pick up some of the Caniks like the Rival and Mete Pro to review.

  21. Tactical BT on April 29, 2023 at 4:10 am

You do need irons in case the dot goes down. Pretty common sense lol

  22. Chat Nasty on April 29, 2023 at 4:11 am

Tacos and gun channels are the best. #forthealgorerhythm

  23. AJ on April 29, 2023 at 4:14 am

Huge m&p fan. Think they were always decent at best guns but I think the newest iterations of them are easily some of the best polymer framed striker fired guns on the market. Fantastic guns.

  24. Mike on April 29, 2023 at 4:15 am

I have the Springfield hellcat with a 15+1 mag for CC and I love it. It was my first gun and I appreciate it but after shooting my sister’s .338 EZ I knew I needed one in 9mm. I’m getting this with the manual safety and traditional trigger. So excited

  25. CTRIP 34 on April 29, 2023 at 4:16 am

I heard quite a few of the top tier mil dudes practice with no sights & remove them or tape them off. For quicker target acquisition they line the rear box/end cap thing to center body. I believe the dudes of gbrs talked about it in one of their vids too.

  26. TheAxe4ever on April 29, 2023 at 4:18 am

TRIGGER WARNING FOR THIN SKINNED PEOPLE WHO CAN’T STAND A DIFFERING OPINION FROM THEIRS. I’ve personally shot and owned many Glocks. I just don’t get how anyone can be a fanboy of Glocks. Sure, you can spend a crap load of money to mod them just to try bring them up to a level of just okay to shoot. But hey, shoot what you want. Now, on to the S&W. That hinged trigger is for shit. Even though they upgraded to a flat trigger now, it still has way too much creep for my taste. A bit of a mushy wall and a weak reset. But hey. It’s made in ‘merica, right? 🤦🏼‍♂️ When Glocks and M&P’s grow up, they want to be an out of the box Walther or Canik.

  27. Jerry Guillaume on April 29, 2023 at 4:19 am

I watched the Walther PDP video you posted a couple months ago and was wondering how the 2.0 compares to it. How do they compare?

  28. PJC on April 29, 2023 at 4:21 am

    Entertaining, subscribed

  29. Schmidty the Kid on April 29, 2023 at 4:21 am

My carry gun is an OR 2.0 compact. That thing is the tits.

  30. Mason Wilhelmy on April 29, 2023 at 4:22 am

Check out the 4.25” or 5” M&P 2.0 Performance Center Ported guns. Lots of bang for the buck. Pun intended.

  31. Jackson Walter on April 29, 2023 at 4:27 am

Man if you’re revisiting older polymer guns that you have reviewed before, I’m excited to hear what you thought about the CZ P10 series again after the original videos triggered the CZ fanboys.

  32. Al Lo on April 29, 2023 at 4:28 am

Damien Lewis (actor) is doing gun reviews now?

This is the only channel that can make two dudes shooting the breeze in the middle of nowhere about guns entertaining.

  38. Joe Karably on April 29, 2023 at 4:38 am

Just got the M&P Metal and its hands down my new favorite pistol. Shoots like a dream.

  39. Victor on April 29, 2023 at 4:39 am

Block fanboys have deformed crab hands, this is why they’re so attached to brand, cause no other company with the exception of clone makers, manufacture a gun with a grip angle that should’ve died with the Luger.

  40. TheSuit on April 29, 2023 at 4:39 am

Today I learned the term ‘Hogging’. I mean, they say "the more you know", but I’m not sure.

  41. NationalRaifuAssociation on April 29, 2023 at 4:39 am

I have nothing against M&Ps. I just like Glocks, and I bought a P320 for the future potential of the chassis and it’s the standard service pistol (It would’ve been an M9 but that’s what happens)
I almost bought an M&P because SilencerCo almost put out a great Maxim 9 but then decided they wanted to be a gun maker so i bought an okay-ish Maxim 9.

  42. M Pickett on April 29, 2023 at 4:41 am

I can’t wait to see this gun finished up.

  43. Big Mike on April 29, 2023 at 4:41 am

The new S&W flat trigger in my 10mm M2.0 is actually really good, very clean break after you break it in. The slop’s gritty feeling goes away after you break it in. I just spent a night dry-firing to get the grit to go away. I absolutely LOVE this pistol, the 10mm. I also got the C&H Precision metal plate and got a magwell from Floyd’s Custom. Fits my really big hands so well! I’m now a fan.

  44. taylorID1 on April 29, 2023 at 4:41 am

Mopeds are fun to ride. Just don’t want your friends to see you on one And that’s all I’ll say about hoggin’. “M and P …. M and P?” – Garand Thumb.

  45. Eric Markle on April 29, 2023 at 4:41 am

I’ve been running my stock trigger on my 2.0 compact for about 3 or 4 years now, I’ve lost track, and the only thing I would change is the trigger shoe which I’m probably changing it out for a Timney soon.

  46. P Foley on April 29, 2023 at 4:44 am

I got 1200 rounds in about 2 years through my 2.0 compact, and 1350 through my 365

  47. NTB on April 29, 2023 at 4:46 am

As opposed to the apex trigger, have you guys seen the m&p 10mm that has the new flat trigger, it’s also on the shield plus which I carry, tbh my favorite striker fire trigger I’ve shot .

  48. Juan Cortez on April 29, 2023 at 4:46 am

You should compare it to the 509 tactical

  49. Chris Werner on April 29, 2023 at 4:47 am

    Love that intro

The plates aren’t just plastic, they are a fiber glass type material.
