I like my 2 inch 856, itโs great for pocket carry.
Want
Really like that model from Taurus especially that 3" barrel and 6 rounds with those grips. Front sight with night capability is a nice plus too. Thanks Beretta, Sr!
They need to keep a million + in Brazil till they get their election straight. Kinda cool though.
awesome taurus revolver! ๐
I like Taurus; I own a couple (a 4" .357 Tracker and a 2.5" .44 Mag snub nose)… This 856 is pretty good, but I think there’s something to be said for .357 Magnum – like with the Ruger SP101 (even though it’s only a 5-shot). In comparison, the Kimber K6s is top-of-the-line (and a 6-shot) – but out of the price range for a lot of people!… Revolvers can be expensive; I’ve seen a 2.5" S&W 686+ (7-shot) in one gun shop going for almost $1000.00.
Taurus ๐ makes a great budget firearms of high quality. I like this revolver size over a snub and I would be happier with a satin cylinder over the black. Thanks for showing ! ๐๐บ๐ธ๐๐
If they make a 2inch in this exact configuration. I’m definitely buying one. Already got two revolvers but I need a snubbie in the collection. Great videos as always.
That’s a good looking revolver. I picked up two Taurus guns recently and reviewed them on my channel (Model 82 and a.45 Commander)
I like these. We have a Taurus importer in Afula. Love from Israel.
I have the matte black stainless version with Hogue grips. I like it a lot. I got mine new for $379 but with NICs and taxes ended up a little over $400. I need to get it to the range and get rounds through it though. Dry fire is helping the trigger lighten and smooth out and it was already test fired at the factory but it still need to get rounds through it to season the barrel and make sure it shoots to point of aim and get practice on it. I got it last year after looking it over for about two days to make sure it had no defects or damage. I passed on another one from another dealer like the one you are reviewing that had timing problems. Since its a small J frame it conceals well so I got an Andicen IWB/OWB reversible leather holster with a thumb break/snap off of Amazon for concealed carry. It has a belt loop on one side and a clip on the other side. Really nice holster. I added a three or four stitches around the trigger guard to snug it up since it was a little loose but no big deal. Add some Bianchi speed strips and some Remington 110gr. HTP SJHP +P for defense loads. My trigger is not as heavy as yours probably from all the dry firing I have done on it. If my sister likes it and can pull the trigger both DA and SA without complaining then anybody can. Haha. Thanks for sharing.
I own two 856 snubbies that are fun to shoot. That 3" model looks really sweet!
That’s a beautiful revolver and I’d like to own one but I’ve seen a couple of videos where it’s suddenly gone out of time. Can’t wait to see your shooting review, maybe that’ll convince me. As always great review, Brother.
You know you have an abnormally extensive gun collection when you get another Taurusโฆ(I just bought and a Taurus 6 inch 44 magnum ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐บ๐ป). I have a 617ss which is the 7 shot stainless snubbie in 357 magnum and I absolutely love it. I once shot an air weight Smith in 357 and wouldnโt wish that on absolutely anyone๐ซ๐
Good Honest Review Beretta Sr., I have this one and two 2.5 inch LW Models… Great and Reliable Detective Special Clones that get the job done and make good "Go-Bag" Guns ‘;-)
Good ๐๐
Loved the up close footage of the Revolver, Excellent unboxing Review.
Between the taurus 856 defender and the s&w m60 3 inch barrel, which one should I go for?๐ค
Only a Smith for me
nice, I am seriously considering this, very interested in what a ’23 version is like.
Absolute beauty. Love those grips. Came so close to picking this one up last year.
What does the Plus P mean?
My 605 3" took a few hundred DA dry firing sessions and it smoothed out considerably
Definitely very snappy with full magnum rounds
I hope one day youโll review the newly released Rossi rp63 also.
Very cool revolver and a great review as always. I noticed you’re going back through your catalog and labeling some of your reviews as (not recommended). Could you elaborate? I was taken aback to see some of your most positive and praising reviews having this tag on them (the model 19 carry comp for example which you even put in your top 5 carry revolvers)
Revolver from my Brasil. !
In my country, Thailand, the handgns of Taurus are contained in the plastic boxes. No a paper box like this. The next revolver for me I’ll buy the Taurus m- 856 Executive with the wooden grips.
That was a nice unboxing. Thank you very much for the video.
Awesome & Thanks ๐
As a raging Bull owner. I love the content fellas๐๐ฝ๐บ๐ธ๐บ๐ธ
That’s a good looking gun at a great price! I recall YB likes 2 tone 1911s. Better keep an eye on this one before it walks away… ๐
Great! Blessing the algorithm brother
Think they have gotten better lately, I have Ruger, Smith and one Taurus revolver in 44 mag, so far so good. It’s not like a Smith , but at less than half the price it makes a good shooter.
I have the 2" version, great gun. And yes on the Zeta speed strips.
Cool revolver! Iโve recently been in the market for a .357 magnum. Not a world Iโm very familiar so Iโm trying to figure out the right fit.
Taurus makes a great revolver for the price. I just picked up the Colt King Cobra in the same length. But I did consider the Taurus, I’m sure it’s good
