You are being bamboozled, hoodwinked, Just flat out lied too and manipulated by anti-gun prohibitionist . The bill of rights was not given to the people by the federal government. The bill of rights is not a bill of privileges or suggestions, in which the federal government has the authority to control, regulate or take away. The bill of rights, is your (Undeniable rights); given to you by the people for the people. The federal government has NO authority in regulating your rights or denying you of your rights. The federal government has been in violation of the constitution and bill of rights for decades.

People, so called (Scholars) always skip the part of the sentence (The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed). Not the militia, the (People).

The constitution is referred to as a living document, meaning it evolves as does time. The federal government doesn’t have a monopoly on force, we are not limited to muskets as some anti-gun prohibitionist would have you believe either. As a matter of fact the document doesn’t state any limits on force. Anti-gun prohibitionist have been manipulating Americans with lies for far to long, enough is enough.

The constitution states (We the People) in the title, not we the federal government, not we the president. The people are in charge of the country not one man, not one group, or institution.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Where’s it say felons are not people?

The right to keep and bear arms in the USA is profitable for the stock market. Capitalist propaganda fuels the production of arms; not self defense. The 2nd amendment does not include the right to produce for sale fire arms or ammunition.

  7. Cody&jenn 87 on March 27, 2023 at 2:52 am

The 2nd amendment shall not be infringed and it was written in the constitution signed and sealed

  11. Dylan Bushe on March 27, 2023 at 2:56 am

Unless you’re willing to agree that everyone should have a nuke for whenever they want to ‘stand their ground’, then you’re willing to admit there are and should be limitless controls for the ‘right to bear arms’.

  12. MidNiteR32 on March 27, 2023 at 2:57 am

Hilarious that they want to cite power hungry federalist like Hamilton in regards to the second amendment. But don’t cite him when he and many federalist argued that the bill of rights should not exist. Lmao. “Great”mind of Hamilton.

  13. lovemetu on March 27, 2023 at 2:58 am

An outdated amendment made in the times of muskets that could shoot a lead ball around 2 shots a minute, not the army style assault weapons that kids of just 18 can legally own today in the US. And people should ask themselves as to why the US is the only western country in the world where so many people ( including little kids ) are being shot by guns !! As to the idea of modern day militias being formed to attack the American Armed forces, just crazy talk.

  14. Kazi Niaz Ahmed on March 27, 2023 at 2:59 am

A wholly unnecessary amendment for the present times. Most democracies don’t have anything like this amendment and they are doing just fine with less gun violence. It should be scrapped through a plebiscite. The constitution is man-made and not the word of God. So the majority of the people should be able to change it anytime it wants to do that. Stop fetishizing 18th century texts in their entirety without proper present-day context.

  15. Emilio Hernandez on March 27, 2023 at 3:00 am

Doesn’t say anything about ammo. Let them buy whatever guns they want but restrict the ammo to 30 rounds a year.

  16. Frank Martin on March 27, 2023 at 3:01 am

The ability to form an armed militia is a reason the citizens should be armed, but it is not the only reason as has been argued by some. It is a right of the PEOPLE that shall not be infringed, and is a prohibition placed on the government in the same way that the First Amendment prohibits Congress from passing a law establishing a religion.

  17. Christopher Pino on March 27, 2023 at 3:01 am

There are as many historical quotes arguing against the individual right as there are arguing for it. This piece picks and chooses.

  18. abc on March 27, 2023 at 3:02 am

Everything goes back to slavery. All of our rights somehow came out of slavery it seems like. Much credit to those slaves who endured so much, they helped build this country in so many ways. They are not African Americans they are simply Americans.

  19. Adrian Cozad on March 27, 2023 at 3:07 am

2nd amendment applied to their immigrant citizens only,Native Americans were disarmed and forcefully moved in their westward GENOCIDE movement and put on reservations,it wasnt until 1924 when INDIGENOUS people were accepted as citizens. (HISTORY)

It’s amazing how you anti-2 Amendment people forget about how the Roof-Koreans, in 1992 , in Los Angeles used their 2nd Amendment Individual Rights to protect themselves and their property from looters because there were no response from police during the LA Roits!

  21. YOUTUBE CENSORSHIP SUCKS on March 27, 2023 at 3:09 am

    This is utter BS.

The purpose of 2a was to RESTRICT FEDERAL POWER.
The whole Bill of Rights are redundancy and maybe some further clarification, but the main purpose was RESTRICTING FEDERAL POWER.
It was redundancy because even without the Bill of Rights.. everyone still had all of those rights, and the federal government never had any power granted to it to infringe on any rights of the people.

2a absolutely 100%, clearly, without a doubt protected an individual right with the words "the Right of the People to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed".

Their mention of Heller being the first SC ruling to say it was an individual Right is very dishonest.

Heller was the 4th ruling in American history on 2a.
Cruikshank ruled on the individual right, but said that 2a was only written to restrict federal power, so they had no jurisdiction over this case.. this was 1876, before incorporation of our Bill or rights, so in this ruling they also said the same about the right to assemble.

Presser v Illinois (1884) just basically ruled the same as Cruikshank but this time it was about the militia.

Miller (1939) Was a terrible ruling that should just be thrown out. Hopefully soon it will be overruled.
Miller died before the hearing and had no representation. US v Miller was decided by the SC and a bunch of US attorneys…
And even THEN it did NOT imply that there wasn’t an individual right, in fact it did the opposite. That there was an individual Right.

Nice try "History Channel" but you can’t lie to me.

  22. Abdirahman Warsame on March 27, 2023 at 3:14 am

If its about the militia having the right, why did the constitution state the "PEOPLE" have the right. That either means the people are the milita or that the militia is the armed forces and people have a right to bear arms because of the potential threat of the government led militia carrying out tyrnanny.

  23. AjitaDas399 on March 27, 2023 at 3:14 am

if government takes weapons from people your country will become a craphole like Russia. in Russia people are forbidden to own guns so pootin and his cronies murder everyone they want and shamelessly rob taxpayers of all money.
    people owning guns = democracy.

  24. U.S. Militia on March 27, 2023 at 3:15 am

“Shall not be infringed” literally means no gun laws can be made against our 2A. 🇺🇸

This entire presentation is rather humorous, now that NYSRPA v. Bruen is in the books….

Of course, I guess I wouldn’t expect much better from anyone in media….

  28. Austin Shannon on March 27, 2023 at 3:20 am

I’m so thankful we have ppl who volunteer to serve In the military. That means they have to protect the second amendment. It’s the law. If they didn’t agree with it then why would they volunteer to defend it?

  29. Pwj579 on March 27, 2023 at 3:21 am

False statements….. @2:40 …the 2nd Amendment is for all citizens ….the unorganized militia is all able bodied men from age 18 to 40.

  30. Michael Orr on March 27, 2023 at 3:24 am

"…the right of the PEOPLE o keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

  34. Sally Moen on March 27, 2023 at 3:27 am

Hmm…interesting origins of the 2nd Amendment. It certainly sounds like these current shootings using semi-automatic firearms will never cease unless that type of weapon is banned, which won’t happen unless they are seen less as essential to gun owners and more as weapons of mass destruction. Yeah, I mean that too.
All debates aside, there has been hundreds of people of all ages shot using those guns with the ability to fire quickly multiple times.

  35. George George on March 27, 2023 at 3:27 am

The Second Amendment is premised on a well-regulated militia. An absolute requirement of such a militia is that its weapons are registered and its members subject to training and discipline. We’re way behind on that.

  36. Willy Hwang on March 27, 2023 at 3:28 am

what good is it if they can’t even terminate michael myers

  37. El Viejo del Mar on March 27, 2023 at 3:28 am

The entire gun rights argument is based on -the belief that Madison fieared an authoritarian government. No, he believed the government he had designed would prevent that. He feared a standing army and felt a militia was the only way to protect the country from external enemies. His original draft shows that clearly!

“The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, a well-armed and well-regulated militia being the best security of a free country; but no person religiously scrupulous of bearing arms shall be compelled to render military service in person.”

It was Patrick Henry, the largest slave holder in Virginia who forced the change. Henry feared that a future abolitionist President could call the militia out of state and endanger the slave states from a slave uprising because the militias in the slave states were also the slave patrols.

Thus the wording that was finally approved and included in the Constitution.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

  38. warhol cow on March 27, 2023 at 3:29 am

Pretty sure there is not much room to “misinterpret “the second amendment. It’s pretty clear that the right should not be infringed. I think what you meant to say was there’s been a lot of “interpretations” so they can still deny people their Second Amendment right, while subsequently brainwashing mass amount of the public to (mis)believe, that people who legally hold guns in line with their second amendment right are the ones that are responsible for the rising gun violence. That is the misinformation.

  39. Trin Electro on March 27, 2023 at 3:30 am

40 mass shootings in January 2023 alone thus far… But yeah keep believing that more background checks are going to solve the problem. Smh

  40. Oliveoil on March 27, 2023 at 3:31 am

There is a military on Earth that’s greater than any military that has ever been assembled. Better than the Roman empire. Better than the Soviet Union. Better than the military of China. And if they decided to take over the world, in order to make it better, they could very easily. They are 40 million Americans, who own 400 million guns. If they stood together, no military could defeat them.
    B. Julian Kohl

  41. SRK2023 on March 27, 2023 at 3:31 am

Gun control isnt about guns, its about control and power, the elite have guns and hold power while the average civilians here in belgium are fling unarmed and have to rely on the law enforcement and military for protection, which sucks

  42. Lone Ranger on March 27, 2023 at 3:32 am

The constitution also guaranteed the right to own slaves also. Times change the 2nd. Amendment says a well trained militia a citizen soldier not every citizen. They can ban your assault weapon just like a grenade or a bazooka they are both arms too but you can’t buy or own them.

  43. Fordman on March 27, 2023 at 3:35 am

I highly doubt it was only for a militia, you have context? letters from the founder saying this maybe?

The Bill of Rights have been violated for decades now. Cruel and Unusual punishment, excessive fines. Freedom of religion and now more recently the right to keep and bear arms. Government needs a wake up call. This is America
