New S&W Folding 9mm Carbine: M&P FPC First Shots

A brand new release from Smith & Wesson, the FPC looks interesting, but is it useful?

Look this need to be built in 5.7 so it can be paired with the new m&p 5.7 pistol

  2. Dean-KA0TRL on March 8, 2023 at 2:34 am

Like a Glock who doesn’t have a safety you don’t have to use the safety. I agree with you about the extra mag storage.

  3. Tom Campbell on March 8, 2023 at 2:35 am

    I really want this in 45, 5.7 and 10mm

  4. lawrence neuen II on March 8, 2023 at 2:35 am

Jerry Miculek didn’t like the poundage of the trigger. He said he’s used to lighter triggers, but did like the carbine

  5. Mike A on March 8, 2023 at 2:36 am

If the brace thing sticks……do you think the bullpup will have a restriction?

  6. Edward Lagow on March 8, 2023 at 2:36 am

So SW decided to copy Glocktec

  7. Jarheadsteve757 on March 8, 2023 at 2:37 am

How do you like this vs the Ruger PC carbine?

  8. SullyDmax on March 8, 2023 at 2:41 am

I bought the KELTEK Sub 2k and had to do a lot of upgrades to get it to work like the Smith & Wesson. I will definately buy the SW just because you did this review. thanks for the dedicated honest reviews, wish I woulld have found you early on in my gun quest now I own 15 guns and love them all! Stay GOLDEN OUTLAW and having your wife help is hella cool! You seem like a great couple! L8R CU on the next one…….

  9. Edward Lagow on March 8, 2023 at 2:41 am

I like my Glocktec 40SW this

  10. STEE-Z on March 8, 2023 at 2:42 am

I’ve watched most of the big gun YouTubers and you’re basically the only one actually honest about this and not just “Wow it’s cool, great option guys”

  11. Tonyalto 1014 on March 8, 2023 at 2:44 am

    Good , brief review.

  12. Johannes Steenekamp on March 8, 2023 at 2:44 am

    I see tax stamp😏

  13. Voodoun Priest on March 8, 2023 at 2:47 am

    It’s the keltech sub 2000

  14. Colton Robinson on March 8, 2023 at 2:48 am

Does it come with the optic?

  15. Marvin Cultee on March 8, 2023 at 2:51 am

    A real shooter. Amen

  16. Nonya on March 8, 2023 at 2:52 am

    I’ll wait for the 10mm V2

  17. jeremy Del Castillo on March 8, 2023 at 2:52 am

    This or ruger pc charger

  18. NR Medic on March 8, 2023 at 2:53 am

These carbines are ugly AF… And for that price, I hate to even say it, but I could buy almost three Hi-Points… I will not be buying one, that’s for sure.

  19. R V on March 8, 2023 at 2:54 am

The slide/bolt release for this FPC is probably like the one on the M&P pistols, which is NOT a slide release. It is actually designated as a slide Catch for the pistols. The M&P pistols are meant to release the slide by racking the slide. It seems that same is true for this FPC.

  20. Joe Baldwin on March 8, 2023 at 2:55 am

I’ve got a PCC and PCC Charger, and like them a lot; however a 10mm version of this might warrant a purchase.

  21. Delta Smelt ya on March 8, 2023 at 2:56 am

They should have gone with 10mm or 5.7

  22. DUI Survivor on March 8, 2023 at 2:56 am

I’m not taking the last cookie from her….

  23. John Doe on March 8, 2023 at 2:59 am

*Me looking at my sub 2k with an optic and more than 50 rounds thru it still going strong* hmmmmmm weird

  24. Rob Martin on March 8, 2023 at 2:59 am

S&W conference….Hey lets copy everything Keltec did 10yrs ago

  25. fuuuuuwahhhh on March 8, 2023 at 3:00 am

Do those mags fit the double stack shield model? If so it’s the perfect companion to the shield….

  26. Dennis Mccoy on March 8, 2023 at 3:01 am

    9mm, why??
In my opinion something likes this needs to be made in 357 Sig, which would deliver more than 500 lb. Ft. of muzzle energy out of a 10, or 12 to a 13 in barrel. More than any 45ACP. And effective out to 125 to 150 meters.

  27. Mike A on March 8, 2023 at 3:04 am

To me for 700 MSRP there are a lot of bugs imo…….the little oddities I would think s&w wouldn’t have those little things……but just my opinion…..but still neat little gun

  28. Ronald Nosack on March 8, 2023 at 3:05 am

Stop talking so fast. Slow down and take some breaths – this is taught in all "speech" classes. After each sentence, press the space bar at least once. Thanks.

  29. Chris Priest on March 8, 2023 at 3:06 am

    Shoot hollowpoints well?

  30. Jason Kessinger on March 8, 2023 at 3:06 am

looked like the charging handle moved when you fired, and sometimes more than others. Was I just seeing things?? Is it tight or is there movement when its open and ready?

  31. Tony Johnson on March 8, 2023 at 3:06 am

    Does it take drum magazines?

  32. Kevin Chaney on March 8, 2023 at 3:07 am

Cool gun but over 1000 dollars. That is a joke.

  33. Kenton Kirkpatrick on March 8, 2023 at 3:07 am

Bottom line: Buy the Mark II version…

  34. B USA on March 8, 2023 at 3:07 am

Okay I really liked the dance.

  35. superkenru on March 8, 2023 at 3:09 am

Bless you for another straightforward and comprehensive review!

  36. J Abreu on March 8, 2023 at 3:10 am

I like how slim my Kel Tec folds up.

  37. Chief Joseph on March 8, 2023 at 3:12 am

I’ve had my sub 2000 with Red Lion add ons for a long time now. Flawless execution.

  38. Onpoint Firearms on March 8, 2023 at 3:16 am

As always, damn good initial review that didn’t take a lunch break in order to get through it.

  39. The Conservative Social Regressive on March 8, 2023 at 3:19 am

I’ve watched several videos on the new FPC and so far not one has mentioned how well the attached optic holds and returns to zero going from folded to unfolded. It’s my understanding that the fore end rail is polymer and since the optic attaches to the barrel instead of the receiver (what dumbass thought that up?) it makes me question how well this system really works. I initially thought I would want one of the FPC’s but now I seriously have my doubts. I have a number of AR platforms as well as a Kriss Vector carbine. I would never mount an optic on the fore end rail of an AR and my Kriss Vector has the added extended fore end on it that I don’t even mount a front sight on. This of course says nothing of the detractor points brought up in the video that I agree with. Thank you for the review but I guess I’m going to wait for the Gen 2 version to come out that hopefully fixes these problems.

  40. Jack Squat on March 8, 2023 at 3:20 am

I got my sub-2000 used for $360, so I can live with the iron sights. I only wish the buttstock was a little taller so I wouldn’t have to hunker down so much to shoot it.

  41. Tony Brown on March 8, 2023 at 3:21 am

I kinda like it, not gonna lie.

  42. Rick Wolchuk on March 8, 2023 at 3:22 am

Great review and this is an excellent firearm; however, I will still stick with my Kel-tec. Yes, the company isn’t exactly known for its manufacturing excellence and high standard production materials. However, I have MCarbo-ized mine to get it where I want it to be. My sub 2k is accurate, reliable, and fun to shoot. To be about it, if stuff were to hit the fan, a folding carbine like this S&W gun, the funky pivot gun, or the Kel-tec is not probably the first thing you would grab for anyway, they fill a niche, and life is good.

  43. brandon jungeblut on March 8, 2023 at 3:25 am

Want to ask can you fold it with the safety off?

  44. ed s on March 8, 2023 at 3:26 am

Hmm..can it handle hot stuff ?

  45. J Abreu on March 8, 2023 at 3:28 am

I always hit with Kel Tec. Me and my son never miss with it. Used to like you channel

  46. stah Pit on March 8, 2023 at 3:29 am

Does it come in 10mm? Am I the first to ask?

  47. Your Conscience on March 8, 2023 at 3:29 am

Bashing sub 2000 when another gun manufacturer copied the design? Ugh

  48. DUI Survivor on March 8, 2023 at 3:31 am

My questions…..does this work….is the rifle sturdy…will it stop someone from hurting you…?

  49. rudder727 on March 8, 2023 at 3:32 am

I have had one of these for years… but mine was made by kel-tec

  50. EazyTheRecon on March 8, 2023 at 3:33 am
