   I absolutely HATE my 605 poly. Wayyy too much recoil for someone with small hands and the DA is like 15 lbs! I think I might just sell it because it’s so uncomfortable for me to shoot

    I bought one in 2012. Somewhere between 50 and 80 rounds later, it started falling apart. I literally just threw it in the trash can. I hope Taurus has made it more durable in the last decade. It was a neat gun while it lasted.

    I have this pistol also. As a disabled vet the trigger pull is a little stiff for me in single action. It’s a very durable and reliable piece though. I have a nice composite holster that fits like a glove.

    I will NEVER understand why plastic/polymer is accepted by people on firearms. Nothing compares to STEEL. I’ve personally seen a "Scandium" framed .44mag completely fall apart. If one can’t handle the "weight" of a firearm, maybe they shouldn’t be shooting. -Find another sport/hobby.
