Will HK just come out with a VP45 already?
I’m a fan of both brands. Sigh, neither in Cali…
LOVE that German Shepherd! I have two myself and won’t ever own another breed!
Might ass we’ll get a 40 but 45 do have les recoil
Good hair. I wish I had some left over from my 30s.
Wow, I am so glad to have come upon your videos! You are a great presenter/creator and clearly are non-biased in your presentation. I am not a brand crazy, look for quality and fit for me. I am so glad youre not a SIG/MP hater like so many folks that do reviews. I like my SIG and MP equally but differs by gun of course. I do like the modularity of the 320&250, having both the options are like having 6 guns in one.
youre shooting targets under 25m with a 45. both guns are going to shoot high….thats your first mistake. you need to be test firing these weapons at a minimum of 25 meters, period. 45. ACP will obviously rise more at 17 yards than a 9mm. so in short; your entire video is inaccurate to the caliber you are testing. Try test firing up to 25-30 meters and you will have a more accurate read with the 45 ACP’s.
i want both. got them in 9mm compact. just need the 45s. both compacts
great video
Videos I know I liked before are now… blank. So I’ll have to watch again!
Sig for me all day!
The steel chassis on the MP shits all over the module sig
Would be cool if you got a USP Expert in 45 while they have these new batches coming in. Legendary softness and accuracy for a lot less than they used to sell for.
Would make for some great Justin Opinion Slugfest matches. Also a chance to test out 45 Super…maybe with some head to heads vs 10mm pistols.
Hi Justin
Happy new year
You are doing an excellent work
Can I ask a stupid question: have you ever used the ATS Advantage Tactical Sight?
All the best
Joe
So you haven’t had the 45 go through the voluntary upgrade?
Sig didn’t invent the modular system. They stole it from Steyr.
How do you not pick a winner when the “Pig Sower” couldn’t eat that 45 ammo??? That’s a fail to me. I hate failures.
Actually I had lots of malfunctions in a Sig p227 I rented 4 times in the past.. Good things I rent them; more money for renting but I don’t have to clean them. .
Smith & Wesson all day
Sig 320 for me
I have 3 M&P pistols excluding the 45 2.0 5” barrel.
All 3 have never let me down on the range or in the field. So I trust them with my life. M&P is my go to carry piece.
P320 pretty shoots itself.
Enjoy your vids for the most part but would appreciate a little bit more editing to reduce the total time!
I’d love to say “great work, awesome video” but it seems a bit redundant at this point lol
Excellent start to a video
SIG has better trigger, better sights, a slide stop that doesn’t rip your thumb like the M&P, has takedown without trigger pull, has REAL front serrations, chassis system is actually useful, unlike the Smith that markets it has a chassis yet it has no useful purpose.
Whoever prefers the Smith over the Sig doesn’t know guns and fell for the marketing.
I’ve had my P320 full .45 for over two years now, I’ve run mostly Walmart ammo in either Winchester or Federal, when I first got it the only malfunction I ever had was limp wristing it, I’ve got well over 10,000 rounds through it now (which is not a lot when compared to shooting everyday) but not one single malfunction since then and still love the way it handles, I do have a question if I may, in your opinion, is Sigs elite series ammo really that much better?
At the end of the day reliability and accuracy is everything. Ascetics takes a back seat.
Nice presentation, I have 4 Smithies .40, .380 ez, .22 (all M&P m 2.0 ) and 638 revolver . I have 2 new Sigs P 320X 9 compact and the P 365 subcompact . I’m retired and shoot every month ,sometimes more……and enjoy your analysis and fair treatment. Thanks!
Buy American 🇺🇸 Made Only!
Great, great video!! Thank you sir!
Nice video, wondering why you would buy ammo online vs. supporting local? Thanks for taking your time to do this.
My P320 was absolute trash. It had feeding issues, FTE/FTF, out of the box and it slammed the projectile of every hollow point I tried in it back into the casing, every time I chambered a round. Yet a friend who bought his a month after me, had no issues after the first couple hundred rounds. After 600 rounds I called it quits and bought the 2.0
BEST. DECISION. EVER.
I’ve been comparing all of these polymer striker fired pistols because I was looking to get something new, Sig, Walther, Glock, FN, ect…. in all they’re calibers and I’ve settled on the M&P and I’ve never owned a Smith semi auto but all in all I think the M&P just seems to be the most well rounded of the bunch, it does everything really well, it’s my pick out of all the others in class, I’m going with the M&P compact 2.0 / 3.6 inch version myself, I think S&W really makes a quality pistol and upped they’re game to the point it just edges the others out for me regardless of the price, again, just my opinion for my needs, I really like the new Smiths and thats saying alot because I like all these pistols.
I just got the M&P 2.0 45 acp the FDE TFX version and I love it great gun.
S&W is #1…
I would like them to have a baby so I can have the best of both.
Love the M&P
If you’re looking for good striker triggers, look no further than CZ P-10 or Walther PPQ. Everyone else is in the rearview mirror.
prefer the lower bore axis of the M&P IMHO
Sig actually copied the Taurus Competition Pistol in manufacturing the 250/320. Take a TCP chassis out of the grip and tell me what ya see.
Because the Sig did not eat all the ammo you fed it, automatically makes the M&P the winner. Yes you like how they both shoot but the M&P ran flawless. What good is “modularity” if it’s not 💯% reliable. Just sayin.
Appreciate the video. Thanks
I’ve owned most poly striker guns out there, from caniks to glocks and everything in between. The only poly striker guns I still own are p320s. It was expensive to take a hit on every gun I’ve sold but at least I know I like the p320. Shoots the softest especially with the dpm recoil assembly. The m&p was my second favorite with canik being a close as well. I didn’t like the p10c or the glocks. Just my opinion.
BTW, those quartz watches we wear when we shoot may not like the "Gs" they take when the gun fires. Luckily I don’t use my Omega Speedmaster when I shoot, I use a much cheaper Bulova. I’m not saying the Speedmaster can’ take the recoil, I’m just saying it’s a lot better to lose a cheap Bulova than risk damage to a pre-Lunar Omega Speedmaster while shooting. JMHO of course.
The modularity seems like a moot point. By the time you buy the new frame, barrel, slide, etc to have a "different gun" you just spent as much as a fully functional gun. Instead of having 2 working guns, you have 1 1/2. Maybe if you want a different caliber choice and you live in an anti gun state, well, maybe it’d be a benefit. To me, that trigger chassis isn’t enough to win out over the reliability you witnessed. Trigger can be further improved by a $35 Apex sear on the M&P. Good comparison though. I liked the PPQ vs M&P. Those PPQs are just ugly guns. Not quite HiPoint but pretty darn close. Just ugly, kind of turd ugly. Just my opinion. 🙂
I’m a SIG Sauer fan, and owner, of the P226 MK25, and the P229R 9mm. I’ve never really cared much for the P320 series. When it comes to 9mm, my favorites are my P226 MK25, my S&W M&P 9 M2.0 in the 5" ProSeries CORE, and the 4" Compact. The M&P M2.0 series has fantastic ergonomics, and I love their aggressive grip texturing – perfect for me. I’ve no problem at all with the M&P M2.0 hinged trigger, especially my 5" ProSeries CORE, as it’s very much like the shape of my SS P226 MK25 and P229R triggers, both of which have the short-reset feature. I really love the DA/SA function of my SIGs as well. IMHO, the triggers in my SIGs and M&Ps are better than the triggers in my Springfield Armory XDM 40 S&W 4.5" and 45 ACP 4.5", and much better than any of my Gen3 and Gen4 Glock stock triggers.
If cost was an issue, or if bang for the buck matters, and I could only keep one system out of the four systems I own (SIG, S&W, Springfield, Glock), I’d keep my S&W M&P 9 M2.0 pistols and never look back. But if I were to pull out all the stops, my P226 MK25 is by far my nicest and smoothest shooting pistol.
Good things! 👍
Sig-nope, m&p-yep,
I’m a sig fanboy. EDC rotates between 226 legion and 938 legion. That said…. I shot my buddy’s M&P 2.0 and man it just like a glove. Stupid accurate for me.
How do you like the p320 vs the P220?
Justin Opinion….. Last month I purchased the Sig P320C 45ACP, after reviewing your videos on the full size and this one . At first I was considering going with the M&P model. Today I some Blazer 230 grain 45 ACP, and I am extremely impressed with the Sig. I could not feel any recoil at all. I am definitely a Sig fan now.
