PORTAL PORT FOR THE NINTENDO 3DS 4K INSTALLATION + GAMEPLAY 11.15 CFW
Portal is a series of first-person puzzle-platform video games developed by Valve and Electronic Arts. The game is set in a Half Life styled universe and the two main games in the series are Portal 1 and 2. The game has had it’s attention on almost every device platform out there, including mobile devices running Android ( VIA Nvidia Shield ). However, Today I will be showing you the fascinating ( and unfortunately discontinued ) Portal port for the Nintendo 3DS, developed by @smea , a person who works on Nintendo 3DS homebrew. Portal3DS gives users who enjoy the game Portal and similar experience on the go. Portal3DS is an unfinished project and allows you to roam around freely just like in the game. Today I do a small demonstration of the Portal3DS port and show you how to easily install it.
To install this game, follow these steps:
• Follow the guide for running homebrew at http://smealum.github.io/3ds/
• Download the Portal3DS.zip file from the link below https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1M-hyu3OrjB3HTa48n3-haHP7fy_IkrpM
• Extract the contents of the zip file into the SD:3DScontents folder in your SD card of your Nintendo 3DS
• Open Homebrew Launcher and find the Portal3DS.3dsx application and launch it

How tf can portal fit on a 3ds it’s like that Xenoblade port on the Wii back in 2012

Background information
This port initially was on the DS (not 3ds) by smea. This concept of Portal on the DS turned into Aperture Science (yes that’s the name of the project) or PortalDS were you play as Doug Rattman hence the cartoony outlines or Cel-Shading (sorry if I pronounced that wrong). You move with the D-Pad and Face buttons (for no reason whatsoever) Aim with the touch screen and switch portals with the touch screen and shooting portals or interaction with L or R. ASDS was later ported to the 3ds with a rebrand
Aperture Science 3D with the only difference being the useless slider on the right side of the screen
Well sure it not always useless but you can just navigate AS3D without 3D turned on so yeah

when i click on the drive file i only have the smdh file. what do i do?
Missing textures
It doesn’t work anymore I don’t think. Even in the video you can see that the crosshair is missing and the portals are invisible. The cube that is required to progress doesn’t seem to spawn either. 🙁

It doesn’t work anymore, one file is missing, the 2 links for the cia and for the 3dsx are the same. Plus isn’t it universal installer? I think you wrote universal manager or smt.

You said you tried the game and became “addicted” yet seem to know nothing about it.
The game looks terrible, the levels aren’t the same and the graphics are what you’d expect to see on the n64
This is not a port, it’s a bad remake.
And the beginning of the video and thumbnail make it seem like you are playing the original game on 3ds, which is not what this project is.
