Fix RAM speed(hz) in ASUS Mother board| BIOS| Enable XMP for RAM| (((Under your own risk)))

Please don’t try this take it as a educational video because most case it failed.

Normally RAM speed is limited by mobo at a standard frequency to obtain the optimum speed we had to enable XMP or DOCP means Extreme Memory Profile or Direct Over Clock Profile respectively .

(this may or may not work)

RAM must be in Dual channel configuration as DIMM A1 & DIMM B1 and DIMMA2 &DIMM B2 if two RAM sticks used.

HOW to enable XMP for RAM?

Everyone using different Brands of RAM. So the common way to tweak speed is this so this may work or not.

**If computer not booting remove the CMOS battery and reinsert it after 10 sec to reset BIOS.**

try adjusting RAM voltage if crash (under your own risk)

2133mhz -2933mhz :- 1.2V
2933mhz- 3800mhz :- 1.37V
4000mhz- 4400mhz :- 1.45V

~~~~~~***Or try switching the mhz in auto mode without enabling XMP or DOCP.***~~~~~~
Thanks you😇.
    If this doesn’t work you have the ram in the wrong slots like me! Fill in slots 2 & 4…
    Thank you very much, after a month I can finally set up my new PC at maximum RAM frequency
  4. HalfbloodViking on November 13, 2021 at 6:12 pm
    I did this process but for some reason my PC still only pulls out 2133mhz from my ram where max says 3200mhz.
    I got the Corsair Vengeance rgb pro.
    Idk what to do…
    Hey 👋
    Can you help me to fix mine, I don’t understand why it always put safe mode when I do it. I have 5950x 6900xt crosshair dark hero and I just plugged 64gb trident neo 4000mhz and when i enable docp like you show on ur video, it doesn’t work :s I spent over 5k for this computer so I’m little bit sad to see the result with $500 dollars of ram 😅
    Thank you 😊 🙏🏻
  13. BranBranNut on November 13, 2021 at 6:23 pm
    Do you know why when I set docp on and try and set it to 3200, it reboots 3 times then resets it back down to 2133? It’s like it doesn’t let me keep it on
  14. Racso_8 on November 13, 2021 at 6:25 pm
    My pc is not booting, I mean it’s on but when I get out of the bios doing what you did it doesn’t boot
  16. NorGlace on November 13, 2021 at 6:31 pm
    this is great but why cant we change it to 3200 ? that my Ram supports ? I do this and pc just restarts over and over xD
  17. MatadorZ on November 13, 2021 at 6:32 pm
    Ive got the exact same RAMs as you but this setting does not work for me it still stuck at 1500mhz. changed from D.O.C.P standard to D.O.C.P to see if it made any difference and upon restart it still at 1500mhz. yep
  18. Zoyfishy on November 13, 2021 at 6:34 pm
    I don’t have the D.O.C.P option
  19. Laqota on November 13, 2021 at 6:35 pm
    For anyone asking, or anyone questioning if this is safe or not. Let me give you a valid response.
    Yes.
    D.O.C.P (For AMD CPU’s) or XMP (For Intel CPU’s) Is 100% safe, and can give you a big performance boost, basically, it overclocks your Ram and CPU to the highest it detects. The CPU and ram mainly have Data/Bios built in to them, showing the maximum capabilities.
    If you’re not using DDR4, I highly recommend not use this tool. It will not break your computer, or anything. It will just make performance worse.
  23. Dawgsrlife on November 13, 2021 at 6:37 pm
    for some reason, this worked when I installed 3×16 ram (gaming ram in dual + stock ram), but on 2×16 ram (dual channel), my pc keep crashing/failing to load… any solutions or do I have to suffer underclocking my 3200 MHz ram to 3100 or something?
    I have a ram that support 3200 mhz, but my pc is using 2133mhz can I enable xmp? To get the full mhz that I have on my ram?
  29. J. J. H., II on November 13, 2021 at 6:40 pm
    Thanks Aswin for posting the video. I have spent a few hours on the phone with Asus Tech Support and getting absolutely no where. I just recently purchased "two" H570 Pro WIFI boards, and memory from GSkill. 2×32 with the frequency of 3200 Mhz. Not recognized. There was an option to enable the XMP and that would be the quick fix. However, I do not believe the proper fix. These manufacturers (Board/ Memory) document full compatibility, but in the "real" world it is total opposite.
    Before Intel decided to no longer manufacturer motherboards (2015), (Devoted To Intel) I never experienced issues with ram, or the placement of ram. Back then, they recommended placing the dual channel ram in slots A1/B1 closest to the processor. Now, its A2/B2. Makes my head spin.
    Again, thanks for the video. It saves me additional hours dealing with Tech Support.
    Jonathan
    I have a question. My CPU is the Intel Core i3 10100, which says that has a frequency limit of 2666MHz. This means that i physically cannot put my RAM’s frequency more than that, right? (My max RAM frequency is 3000MHz).
    I just turned thus on and my pc kept crashing
  37. Antonio Stark on November 13, 2021 at 6:58 pm
    Tried doing this. I have a intel i7 11th gen with two 16gbs Team Group sticks rated at 3600mhz. I go into my ROG bios and it shows me XMP 1 and XMP 2. I choose XMP 1 and it shows 3600mhz. After I save a d exit the pc keeps randomly shutting off. Lowered down to 3200mhz still same issue. If I reset to default 2400mhz it runs fine. What’s causing the random shutting of?
    Question, I have DDR4 2133 RAM however task manager tells me it’s running at 1067. After doing what the video said i checked again and it’s at the same speed, any ideas what it might be?
