Id like to buy this from you!
wait they make a brass cased magnum round that fits in the tube? or when you said magnum did you mean high brass shells?
I’ve got a Topper Jr Model 98 in 20 ga. Was a Christmas present back in ’94. So rugged and durable. We eventually swapped out the stock amd grip with a full size .410. Still a wonderful gun. Will be stoked when my son is old enough to use it.
Got mine for Christmas of ‘81, I believe. Lots of dove, quail, clay pigeons, and cow patties! After high school, hasn’t been used much, but I still cherish it. Mine is full choke, and a tight pattern, which was good for power, but more challenging for birds. Have to admit I had more success with my dad’s Ithaca 16 ga pump with long barrel…but love it anyway!
I’d at least cut it to 18 & 1/2”. That’d be cool.
I had one of these when I was about 15. It took tons of rabbits. and other small game. I had so much fun walking the woods with it. unfortunately it rusted and became unserviceable. So I no longer have it. I would love to get another one.
Love this gun, would like to find a 2nd barrel to shorten someday
Very nice shotgun, I have the original with the red butt stock. Took some time to get the rust off but it works like butter now.
dry firing is not good for an H&R! Replacing the firing pin is not a fun job.
I had this exact gun and the firing pin broke
