Bought this knife almost three years ago! Bought it off a friend from work for $20 . The only complaint I have is the belt clip is not fastened well enough. The screws came loose all the time! But I loctited the screws down and it’s given me no problems! This knife is a beast! It’s all scratched and banged up. But everything keeps on working!
Ugh I bought the version without the ridges. Still feels great to hold, can’t wait to use it.
Is this often used for outdoors

I had this knife and parts started breaking after 2 months I prefer the border guard or the extreme ops over this model they are much more durable.
Mine is really hard to open with the magic assist… any suggestions?
i paid 15 bucks 3 years back. The assisted opening broke from use (the lock in place for the knife is ageless but now i have to open it like a victorinox and the pocket clip broke) 🙁
I have owned and carried one of these for about 3 years now. Incredibly satisfied, this thing is RUGGED. I mean, I really abused it quite a bit and it’s still the best assisted knife I own. Highly reccomend

The problem with the mp knives it’s the clip comes loose after a month or two of just being clipped on your pocket. And the safety lock breaks after 3 or 4 months. I’ve owned multiple different smith and wesson knives and they all have this problem. Solid blade but definitely lacking mechanical reliability. I will be using different brands now.
