Hey good vid what type of punches you using do you have a link to them
Thanks for the video. I’ll be doing this to my 40c tomorrow.
what size punch did you use?
Excellent video. Thank you.
Congratulations! I’m Jealus..I still have the original S&W Trigger but will probably make the change next year.
Very helpful but a bit of critique.
1. The lighting is pretty bad. It may be perfect on your end but with youtube compression we can see very little of what your well lit angle can.
2. Show us each piece, piece by piece, as you take something out or put something in so that we can better follow along.
3. The speed-ups are a bad idea, especially at the end when you’re reassembling the front pieces. I had no idea what went where and ended up having to consult another video to see the reassembly slowed down.
Very good vodeo, BUT your Lighting is horrible..you need to upgrade on that. Multiple Lights can eliminate shadows and allow us to see DEEP inside areas.
This video guided me through installing my apex trigger today. They began to send out rubber placeholders so that you don’t have to try and find something to keep the trigger group aligned while you put the pin back in. Great video. Thanks man
more light
Great video, very thorough, try using the orange slave pin provided by Apex to assist you in assembling the slide stop assembly and the trigger bar assembly with the spring. If you pre-assemble the slide stop assembly and trigger draw bar and spring with that orange slave pin, it would make it much easier to slip both assembly into the frame, and to push and wiggle the trigger pin through thereby pushing your orange slave pin through to complete the assembly. For your future use when you decide to disassemble it. FYI, again great video!
Solid Video. Thanks.
Smith and Wesson Armorers School for the M&P Push the Pins from RIGHT SIDE to LEFT when REMOVING. INSTALLING the Roll Pins is done from the LEFT SIDE of the Frame toward the right side. 🔫
Hi there. My striker is coming through even when my safety block isn’t depressed, but I did everything you said. Kind of confused. Please help. Thanks.
Will this work for the m&p9 2.0?
The Bench Block cost arund $12.00 on Amazon, its nice to have..I used a 13/16 Socket..it worked but was tedious!
I installed the trigger and got it to shooting condition but for some reason now I have a stupid false reset click before the actual reset. It clicks twice and bugs the hell out of me but I haven’t figured out why yet. Otherwise it’s definitely a more comfortable trigger.
Did the rear sight really slide out that easily? All the other install videos show the rear sight being extremely tight and requires pullers and/or punches to remove and they also say it only comes out one way which was the opposite way you removed it…??? Was your rear sight removed previously and/or is your M&P a newer version or something?
Had this trigger in a M&P 9, great difference from my M&P 45c factory. Really need to get off my ass and pick up an Apex for the 45c.
I think you meant to say it’s a single action only trigger right?

done. now that is a sweet trigger. thanks for this video man it has helped me out a ton!!!
A roll of duct tape on its side works great to set the gun on whilst you’re working on it if you don’t have the block you were talking about.
What is the trigger pull weight now?
Are you going to post a new video showing how accurate its shooting?
Bro cut it out with the stupid fast-forward, I can’t follow you at that speed.
A suggestion: Place more light down on top of your fingers. Too much dark shadow. Hard to see what your fingers are doing.
You need better lighting.
GREAT demo! I’ve been debating putting an Apex in my 9c. You’ve inspired me.
Very interesting. Keep us posted as to how it works.
I made the same discovery when installing the trigger pin. The smaller the better.
You fast forwarded through the re install of everything! You were doing good up until then
