Oh, Ron Luciano, where are you when we need you? Luciano wasn’t quite this demonstrative when he was an AL umpire, but he definitely let it show that he was enjoying himself. And maybe these guys overdo it a bit, but I’d take any one of them over Angel Hernandez or Joe West any day.

I never noticed that umps had different strikeout calls and now I want to become an umpire just to have my own signature strikeout flail. I’m thinking I’ll do like a Samus Aaron arm-cannon or Megaman’s Mega Buster type thing.
