thanks. I thought it was funny to have a vid on this….but I get your point. even "gun" people might want to take a shortcut, especially with loading this little plinker, and try and do a couple at a time. I will not. I actually, finally, ordered one of these rifles this week just because the price was the best I’ve ever seen it. I look forward to plinking with it…hopefully it runs good.

Thanks! I was screwing it up by pulling down too far. They aren’t as forgiving as other casing styles, presumably because the lip sticks out.

Definitely a time consuming reload…especially when my son takes three mags with him to the firing line each time 😉 Do you know if anyone makes a speedloader for the M&P 15-22?

I have loaded my mags by pushing the thumb assist down enough to put one round in and it works fin for me

That’s good to tell folks about. I found this out when loading my other mags and using the Mag Lula magazine loaders, it too, can hold down the carrier so cartridges can fall out of sequence like this one.

this explains a lot! I was doubting my mag for a second there.

    Great video! Thanks!

Good video! I recently purchased a MP15 22 and just dropped the bullets in the mag. I had feeding issues with the gun immediately because they were not staggered.

They stagger either way u load it. I’ve done it for years and never had a problem.

  17. Matt Johnson on July 31, 2022 at 8:23 pm

I do it the first way shown (The way he said not to), have shot thousands of rounds through two 15-22s and had zero issues.

  18. RENZ on July 31, 2022 at 8:24 pm

That’s exactly how I load my Hk 416 22 mags.

Thank you so very much for uploading videos like these! I will be purchasing the Smith and Wesson m&p 15-22 for my birthday when I turn 18. I really enjoy your videos!

  21. Paradox2311 on July 31, 2022 at 8:29 pm

Where did you get the thumb assist button from?

  22. gwacha13 on July 31, 2022 at 8:32 pm

can you keep these loaded ? and how long for without damaging the spring?

  23. Douglas Tate on July 31, 2022 at 8:35 pm

Great video but I have a question can you keep the 15 22 magazines constantly loaded without hurting the springs

  24. Liam Nom de Vin on July 31, 2022 at 8:35 pm

Has nothing to do with the "stagger" of the rounds. It’s called RIMLOCK.
