I have trouble opening and closing this dust cover. I have had better luck removing the hinge pin to open and reassemble. Is there something I am doing wroung

I never really get these reviews. Let’s get this product and put it through nonsense and abuse it. Oh….it’s a piece of of garbage it’s overrated. Let’s review this fishing rod and let’s close the tailgate of my truck on it. Oh..I have mixed reviews the tip broke. Let’s review this car let’s crash it into a concrete barrier. Oh… It’s totaled it’s a garbage. Growing up in south Texas my father hunted since I can remember and I never saw him throw his rifles down in the mud bang them around and such. Always brought home a kill year after year and is firearms are like new after all these years.
That receiver cover is just too expensive.
This was before Rob Ski became world famous.
I bought one last week. The hinge piece I received out of the box looked used and dirty. Put it on my zpap m70 and the little piece it screws to wouldn’t fit. Looks like they left out a little machining work. The screw holes were off by a 1/16". Had to modify it but it fit properly after the adjustment and works good now. Love your reviews and torture tests man, great content on your channel!

I had the Parabellum Rail system and it worked fine with the optic I had. My only issue was the backup rear sight that was on it. It was way too high and my round impacts were supper high even after trying to adjust the front sight to bring the strike of the round down. All that to say, how does the rear backup peep sight do with elevation. How much adjustment is needed on the front sight to get on target at 100 yards?

Put one on my PSA 74 had to beat the retaining pin through the sight block with a ball peen hammer.

I have this railed-dust-cover on my Arsenal SLR-95 and I love it a lot. When I bought it from TWS a two or three years ago, I paid $139 for it. Today that same item is $179, damn inflation. Too bad my income didn’t raise the same percentage.

What rear iron sights are you using for that set up?
If something can be intentionally bent to give it a tighter fit, it can also be unintentionally bent.
Do that rail fit the pistol version?
All these rail covers are just gimmicks for tacticool arm chair operators they don’t hold zero, anyone with any mechanical or firearm sense will know this, the only optic mounts that keep zero are side mounts if you have that option on your ak, the other few compromised alternatives are sight block replacement with a red dot mount all else are useless, although the sight block mount maybe too far forward as far as red dots go
How do you know it was not the red dot vs the TWS cover
Looks like it’s not a recommended method of mounting a sight for war or in the army but for your average guy it should be fine I don’t like the side rail method 😑
Hey how’s it going idk if you still check the comments for these videos but do you think it’ll work well with the century arms vska.. I originally bought the ncstar which was working well at first but once I chance my stock to a Zhukov s the ncstar started to just pop off and would not clamp on or sit in place.. i decided to put the original dust cover on but now I’m looking for a new dust cover with pic rail and am having a hard time finding a replacement any recommendations would be helpful.. thanks In advance 👍👍
