I am grateful for the video. Frankly, it was the deciding factor in not buying the rifle. Isn’t it odd that the further you go back in time, the easier the firearm was to disassemble. Remington Model 12, Browning SA-22, Marlin 39, Marlin 60, Ruger 10-22, even the Rem Nylon 66 is easier. It’s a good video for those that get one, but I doubt that I’m alone for those that were considering one.

It is a great design . Simple is great in cases as such when u can fire a .22 thousands of times with just a barrel cleaning says a lot about the design and being that they are so accurate as Ruger s 10/22 which is a bit nicer of a rifle and has more magazine options but this savage is a nice light gun and the best sling that works well for me walking shouldered is the limb saver with the rubber end connected on the barrel and it just rests on the shoulder as I walk . Compared to other rifles I have which are no light with the scope . Even an AR can be a pain to carry . Weight means a lot in my book . Good vid . Take it easy bro .

Thanks for the info/video. I just bought a 64 takedown. Seems like it will be a fun shooter. I just need more mags.
