I tested my new gun today, a Rossi 12 Gauge Single Shot..You can pick these up for $130. Easy to shoot, great gun for females as you’ll see. Great home defense weapons as well!
This gun must be crazy lightweight to kick like that.
Yeah, this gun hurts xD out of every gun I’ve ever shot (lots) this one is the most unpleasant. It actually hurts. But it is actually the first shotgun/longarm I ever shot so it really helped me out with recoil control and it makes every rifle I pick up seem like nothing in comparison. So, as much as I dislike shooting it, I love this old shotgun.
Edit: oh yeah, I forgot I shot a .22 lr Springfield m1922 m1 when I was 10-11 so I guess this is technically my second longarm. My bad. It’s still the first I put significant time in with and put lots of rounds through, in an attempt to learn to shoot.
Nice video. I´m also planning on getting a Rossi shotgun, although I´m not sure if the single shot would be adequate for home defense.

It really depends on what your hunting for. This gun has a modified choke, so about 35 yards effective range. Can’t beat it for the price!
theres one on sale at a gun shop i know of for $119 is it worth it?

From my experience its a great bird gun surprisingly.
Lol I have the same 12 GA 3” love watching my friends shoot it . They seem to shoot once and never again. My girlfriend quit talking to me after she shoot it .. that made my day !
the price is nice on these, but i bought one and the breech kept locking up on me. the button to open the action seemed to lose some of the tension it should have when this happened. sent it in to rossi for repairs in mid november and now come mid february I am still waiting on it, and left wishing I had bought another gun….

This gun kicks so hard. I have the natural stock model and I only let friends I don’t like shoot it. Hahaha.

Does this single-shot Rossi shotgun come with a sling, or must it be purchased separately? Thanks. I ordered one today and they have went up in price from $130.00. Gander Mountain wanted $179.99, plus taxes and had to order it. As a military retiree, I bought the exact same gun (Model:S121280BS) at my local BX for $150.00, no taxes, but had to order. Wait time should be 3 days. I can live with that.
great gun, only thing is sometimes when you shoot a lot of rounds through it the firing pin strikes light when you don’t clean it. I love this gun!

just got the same gun. is your ejection lever a bit loose as well? mine wobbles a bit mostly wen the action is locked closed. i hear its normal and supposed to do this. thought id ask anyway. thanks
Yes, I’ve shot it a bit. Only thing i don’t like is that it has a safety. Seems pointless on a break action. What I do like is how light it is. Also, the tactical all black color is kinda of cool on a simple break action. For the price it’s a great little gun..However, H&R Pardners make one that’s roughly the same price, they are awesome as well if you don’t want a safety and would rather have a wood stock and forend.
I just bought one of these today for only $69. Mine has the wood stock. Shoots good no complaints. Even if it sucked who cares for $69…

Funny because i’m 13 and I just shot this today and loved it I shot a total of 12 shells so my arm is kinda sore but it’s not that hard to shoot
