M&P9 M2.0 Compact 'Optics Ready' Review | Paired with Holosun 507c ACSS Vulcan Green

A review on the Smith&Wesson M&P M2.0 Compact Optics Ready in 9mm. The M&P M2.0 Compact Optics Ready pistol has some significant upgrades over the original M&P pistols, and this new Optics Ready Compact version has even more features that I cover in this video.

That’s the more updated version of the 2.0 with front serrations and optic & cut tall sights model # 13143. Fantastic gun. The standard 2.0 doesn’t have those features.

I have this gun but not the optics ready edition is there anyway i can put a red dot on it without taking off rear sight?

What screws did you use to mount the 507c?

Great review and channel! New subscriber after watching this one. Working to carry my M&P more. About to pick the optics ready model up next. Trying to convince myself these are just as reliable as my Glocks. Mindset issue.

I think they sell a model with a flat faced trigger, I’m sure you can go to a local S&W Armorer and get one installed

Are they all the basic black or are there some desert options?

Have the same pistol but with the red 507c x2 acss and tlr7a,🔥 planning to add a Floyd’s magwell to it

Did you add this optic without any modifications? Trying to figure out if the Holosun will fit the M&P Shield Plus with the optical option? I wasn’t sure if the M&P line all use the Shield SMS optic footprint. I know M&P will deliver with Crimson Trace but I love the ACSS. Thanks man.

I have and have had many M1.0 M&P’s, and recently picked up this same optics ready M2.0 Compact. The trigger was gritty trash, and Apex was a must. I really like the improved grip texturing, and the addition of a 4th backstrap. I do wish S&W could get a consistent, reasonably good trigger pull dialed in. Thankfully they sell for well under MSRP, and adding an Apex kit is not a deal-breaker.

I bought mine late October of this year. So far I love it. Run about 500 rounds through it so far. Bought 4 17rnd mags and found additional mag extension sleeves on ebay fir $12. Awesome feel with grip texture, highly recommended.

I bought the 2.0 compact a few years back not long after their release. I have a little over 6k rounds through mine (most of which was before ammo prices became ridiculous) and I can’t think of a single malfunction that was gun related. It’s the most reliable pistol that I own. I am thinking about picking up another one now that they come optics ready.

Just bought mine and slapped on the same light as you, gonna definitely invest in a 507t as well.

These are going for under $500 now on Buds. I bought mine last year April for $618. The newer version with new trigger is selling for $600. Excellent value

i’ve got the same pistol. The original trigger was horrible. I put in the overwatch trigger and it is awesome! Put a viridian C5L laser/light along with 507C ACSS. Gonna do a sanding on the left side next. Still waiting on a CHPWS plate which is out of stock.

Mine came flying off when I used the Trijicon screws like it said after 3 shots. What am I missing

Do think the HS507K would be a good fit? Thanks!

  20. Lester OBryant on July 21, 2022 at 8:22 pm

What holster do you carry that setup in? Good video!

  21. Charles Nieto on July 21, 2022 at 8:22 pm

I have the same setup except I have the apex duty trigger and it has become my favorite!
