    Good quick review, GunBlastdotcom. The AR-15 style rifles are inexpensive right now. … Millions of that type of rifle have been made; the basic platform has been well tested. In prior videos, GunBlast has said something like: ‘The AR is Americana; everyone should own at least one AR rifle. It’s like owning a pair of comfortable shoes, and a warm coat.’

    Last good M&P 15 was the Smith & Wesson – Magpul co branded from 2013. This was before they changed barrels. It had a 1:8 twist 5R rifling with a melonite finish.

    They should make a model with the front sight shaved off and no furniture, like the Colt LE6920 oem-2. I like the thick barrel

    RUGER AR556 is a better gun with better barrel and no MIM’d parts for the same price point!

    Only thing Magpul on it is the mag and back sight, nothing else!
