Great video thank you
why do gen 3 people say get a gen 4 ejector and now gen 4 people are saying get a gen 5 ejector…..
Using a level 4 housing in a level 3 frame is also possible, just by trimming the plastic tips off of the bottom…. gen 5 may be the same way, but I’m not sure.
Looks similar to the 336 ejector from the gen 3
I have the polymer 80 g19 and it kept shooting 2 bullets with single trigger pull then stove piping. Supposedly they are a gen 3 design and from what I was told a gen 4 ejector will cure it? Also was told by delta team tactical that the rear slide is to high so pulling the pin in the grip and redrilling it out a little lower.. We’ll see.
how can it be beefier if it slides into the same place? Just thinking out loud.
This is great. My Gen 4 was purchased summer 2019 and has some ejection issues. My G45 Gen 5 is perfect so this seems to be a great fix for the Gen 4 thanks.
Thank you!!
Did it work I did notice on my gen 3 that the brass wass hitting me in top of my head it was weird evreytime …I’m thinking of doing this ….did it fix ure problems???
Can i use a glock 19 ejector for a glock 26?
I have a gen 3 and I did everything like this video. I replaced a 336 ejector for a 47021. Now the slide on my glock gets stuck every time I tried to assemble it back. Help?
So much for the Glock is the most reliable pistol. First time I used the 19, it repeated jam, even after lubrication. Also, the shells keep hitting me in the face
To add a little more detail. The brass to face was only once every 10 to 20 rounds but annoying and potential dangerous. Brass was just weakly dropping near my feet. Now with the gen 5 ejector, all brass is nicely at 3:30, from five to ten feet.
Love Glocks simplicity is superior !!
Found just the Gen. 5 ejector without the the trigger bar block. $23.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the share
All you need is the 336 extractor and your good. Looks like the same one. My Glock is Gen 3 but it’s a early one.
Bought a Storm Lake 9mm barrel for my Gen3 Glock 35. Could not get ejection to work without BITF. Saw this video and ordered the Gen 5 ejector assembly. Installed the ejector and now the pistol shoots all my 9mm loads! Works great with the 40 barrel too. I am using the OEM 17 pound recoil spring. If you have a Gen 3 ejection issue, you are about $8 away from the fix! Thanks for the video.
Had brass to face with gen4 G19. Replaced the ejector with the new gen 5 47021 and 100% fixed the problem.
Question… I have a gen 3 Glock slide on a polymer 80 frame. When I try to put the slide on my frame it stops at the ejector metal peace hitting my cover plate not allowing to fully fit and get the slide completely on any suggestions will help. Thanks
No link to the part?
Great informative video! Thanks for helping me fix my Glock 19 Gen 3!
Any ideas if the 47021 might be a good swap for a G17 gen 2?
Can I put a .40 ejector on 19x
Any update on the ejection pattern with this? Is it improved and no shell in the forehead?
Dislike twice lol
Always tight the first time!
Thank you! 1st video I’ve seen that suggests the 47021 will fix the Gen 4 issue. I was about to buy an Apex extractor and didn’t want to part with the money so I just bought the 47021 ejector for short money! Hoping it works. Brass to the right eye. Thank goodness for eye pro. Appreciate the tutorial. Stay healthy America.
Sir, if you don’t mind answering, would it not be easier to use pliers to remove ejector? It seems that there’s no need to remove entire trigger assembly, is there?
I ordered one the other day (Glock pn# 47208) because my G34 Gen4 was hammering my DPP red dot. I previously replaced the extractor spring and that helped a lot as well.
Why not just use pliers to swap ejectors?
I have a g26 gen 4 will a gen 5 extractor work?
$12!!!!!! They are no cheaper than $60 now!!! 5x. Crazy
You did good job!👍
Definitely a liked video. Gave me good information to rework my G 19.
Excellent video !!! Looking forward to upgrading my Gen 3 26.
You should replace the entire ejector housing and trigger. The gen 5 uses a compression spring the gen 1-4 uses a torsion spring. The torsion springs are known to break.
I did this and I noticed when I took the slide off and inserted a loaded magazine that the ejector touches the top bullet that sticks out of the magazine. For better explanation, when inserting the magazine the top of the first round’s casing touches the bottom of the ejector when magazine is inserted. Is this normal or should I bend the new ejector slightly, to the left, and make it straighter so it will be curved less to the right and not touch the casing of the first round in the mag?
I tried this with my gen 4 and noticed there is a wear mark on the inside of the slide where it looks like the ejector was making contact with the slide as it is reciprocating. Does yours show any wear marks like that?
Interesting your using the 5. I came from marine gun builders channel and everyone seems to upgrade Glock gen 3 or the p80 with gen 4 ejector 🤷🏼♂️
