I bought a M&P Sport last year. It’s my 3rd ar. Got my quad rail ordered so I can install my vertical grip and flashlight.
I’ve never seen someone shoot an ar while it’s on fire

A LOT of rounds through my M&P Sport (V1). It got me through LE Patrol Rifle Operator training and years of LE service. I have, and will continue to, trust my life to the M&P Line.

I got the m&p sport 2 with the Magpul MOE handguard that has the heatshield inside of the handguard so this doesn’t happen, I’ve been looking at a free floating handguard for it

Bottom line: don’t put a machine gun carrier into your M&P 15 Sport II if you don’t want to melt the barrel.
Got alot of shit for my cheap ass department issued m&p, never had a single issue at the range and outshot guys that were running dd with optics.

I was looking into a fast ROF trigger. On the one I was looking at, it said a full auto BCG was required. When I google it, it says this gun’s BCG is an M16 full auto BCG. Can you confirm that I can use the trigger with this BCG? I do in fact have the Sport II, not the older model, if that even makes a difference in BCG’s.
