Gun control is a steady hand, always keep it clean and loaded practice on a can, avoiding a conflict is virtue and a life saving suggestion.always remember guns kill..if an intruder is a threat, quickly think high or low, meaning if you have the upper hand shoot low for the legs if not, shoot to end life.
I attended college in the late ‘60&’70’s majoring in Criminal Law/Justice. The most significant point taught was that most “victims create the opportunity for the bad guys to attack”. Victims lack the awareness and planning to be safe. I coach friends and family members on the importance of not allowing a perpetrator to commit any sort of crime against them. We all have choices and are responsible for ourselves.
Because I am routinely riding city buses for the time being, people will notice that I’m not a"regular"rider & approach me to ask for money.
They start their approach when my head is down but pull up short when I "raise periscope" to look around.
If possible,I stand with my back to the bus stop shelter or anything that can prevent someone from getting within arm’s reach from behind me.
Best way to survive a gun fight is to not be there. I carry a gun to save your life. If I use the gun, you[‘ll probably survive. If I have to use my hands and feet, your chance of surviving drops drastically.
Looking to buy. What about a defense weapon that won’t deafen you, robbing you of one of your most important senses?
I carry an M32 rotary grenade launcher wherever I go. I hope I never have to use it, but if I do, the bad guys will be sorry.
Thanks
I don’t see anything wrong with profiling. The problem occurs when you make the innocent profiled person face consequences for your profiling
You cut the video, really?
Sure.
Keeping the subscription cutting the notifications. Consider yourself on double secret probation.
(Animal House reference the movie)
Gotta have a big leather belt tho….
Need an updated video for Texas. It’s September 1, 2021, and pistol carry is a virtual free-for-all now here, and mistakes will be increased.
I disagree with these two guys. You can’t say that this individual causes me some concern with out a degree of profiling. I’m not saying that you have to do it a-la FBI (BAU) level, but a small one.
Im black, I aint finni spend all my money training all year.
I learn the law
I leaen how to point my weapon and thats it
By the way I chose my gun well, I got the biggest baddest coolest, most round in magazine gun I could find. I aint shootin no little bitty b!tch gun.
You must be psychologically fit to pull the trigger. One thing that can kill someone is that millisecond of hesitation that the bad guy doesn’t have.

I have a gun with me at all times on road trips, I don’t care what each state’s laws are. I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. At least I’ll be there to cross it
I really am loving the channel, I am new to having an EDC but I grew up learning gun safety. These are all questions I’ve been asking myself as a new carrier, about conflict avoidance, situational awareness, best general practice for responsible self defense. Thanks for providing your experience and guidance. The 2nd to Last thing I want is to hurt somebody, but the first is to let somebody hurt me.
Being aware of the area, I also notice people NOT aware and heading for trouble.
One of the biggest mistakes is wearing phones and being lost in a fog.
Don’t be that idiot gangster and shove a loaded Glock down your pants
Number one mistake in California is living in California
I live in a ghetto. I’m condition red all the time. How do I run away from home? I’ve been asaulted twice.
You act like it’s a big deal to carry, I’ve been doing it since I was 12.
Am so happy I got my gun from *immaglockdealer on wickr* some months ago thanks man am grateful
Lots to learn and lots of responsibility
USCCA actually states in the fine print if they lose your court case they can sue you for all the legal fees associated with your defense…. US law shield doesnt do that BS
SCHMIDDY!!!
Another excellent video by the USCCA.
Condition Red should be changed to Condition Black……..
wow finish your video. if you are going to call it 10 mistakes don’t stop on 2
I’d rather look like a coward then standing in court
Great advice thanks but i would like to submit two more i think are missing.First practicing gun retention as one never knows if someone may grab your gun wile rounding a corner or the person who may try to grab your gun to disarm you and secondly i think the gun owner needs to learn gun disarms that actually work in the event you may need to disarm the bad guy.Having some martial arts training would be helpful as well as a final last resort just in case but be sure to choose one that teaches offensive tactics as most fights are won that way.
Apparently I’ve matured over the years. #2 is so true. Even though I consider myself as an Alpha male, I find myself much much more likely to be concerned when armed with deescalating a confrontation than I typically would be when unarmed.
Mistake #1, leaving your tools at home
Very good and sensible presentation and advice.
Rule Number One. Don’t carry unless you absolutely have to. It’s not worth the hassle, and the odds of needing a weapon are just about nil, unless you foolishly go looking for trouble.
I can’t find the full video on the site. Is it no longer up?
I avoided a possible incident in a parking lot at my grocery store. I had a bad feeling in my gut, I turned around and looked and there was a person that was behind me, they turned and went the other way. I don’t know what would’ve happened if I hadn’t turned around snd looked them in the face, maybe nothing, maybe they were looking to rob me. But I avoided a bad situation by being aware of my surroundings and going with my gut.
Great video, we do need to put more effort into conflict avoidance.
Great information.
i have bad luck im always gonna die your training means nothing for me
Where is the rest of the video?
the guy on the left needs to lay of the s’s
That all sounds pretty complicated. I guess I’ll just be a victim.
Profiling people is necessary, screw political correctness.
After watching all of active self protections videos I learned that evil truly does exist and you must , I repeat you must be aware of your surroundings at all times
Im so glad there are videos for people who are license to carry. Being that i am one of them and i take the rules very serious.
Was this filmed in a furniture store display?
The guy on the left needs to slow down and let the other guy talk. It’s annoying.
A big part of Condition Yellow is to do threat assessments, of everyone, and every thing, including access and egress. I find people often miss this essential part, escape routes, and that is how they get cornered and can quickly end up in Condition Black, a body bag.
