I’m new to the gun world but I just purchased the Shield Plus for a potential CC. I shot the p365 (too snappy, touchy trigger), the p365 XL (didn’t fit well in my hand) and then the Shield Plus (felt GREAT in my hand and I was far more accurate). Just ordered 2 more 13 round mags. I’m very happy I shot these before buying because based on reviews I thought was going to LOVE the p356/XL and didn’t think much of the Shield Plus. Great review!
Where did you find the extra magazines
I like the 9mm Shield Plus as well. The grips on the Sig 365 are just a touch too thin. The 43X is good for me as well.
Bought my S&W Shield Plus just 2 days ago. It’s my first Firearm. I researched for about 2 months on which firearm would fit me perfectly for EDC and The Shield Plus is perfect.. I bought it at "4 Guns" in Lafayette, IN which is a really cool Gun shop, check them out if you’re in that area.

The Shield/Shield Plus is not a "micro" 9. Its a sub compact. Micro compacts fit inside pants pockets. They are pocket 9s. A Shield/Shield Plus does not.
Very difficult choose from all diferent micro 9mm in the market… the shiel , shield plus, cz , the bereta storm, the glock, the zigsawer… wowww i dont know realy wich one buy all looks very good gun
I purchased one of these, parts falling out of it right out of the box. The gun has never been used sent to S&W warranty repair and still waiting for it over two months. I could never trust this gun and if I do get it back will sell it and the magazines I purchased. I will take a bath on this. When you look inside a this gun looks as though the parts were made from used tuna fish cans. What a mistake. If your readers want value, design, function, dependability buy a CZ, any model is far superior
My wife has had the original 9mm shield since they first came out 8ish years ago… I jave loved everything about it except for the stock trigger and that getting the last rounds into the magazine (and cycling that first round) is always significantly more stiff than my glocks. I am very Excited about this new shield plus and am considering trading in a single stack 9mm for one. Great video as always!!
Can I use the 13 round magazine on my S&W M&P 380 Shield EZ Pistol? Also I had the laser and flashlight attached to it and I am unable to find a holster to fit it.
Bought one last Friday. Truly a great gun feels good in the hands except maybe alittle too much bulge on the back of the grip. But that’s just me being picky. Also love shooting the thing very accurate and manages the recoil great.
Will this fit in a standard shield holster?
I like this gun a lot and I shoot it the best of any small gun I have but the Taurus Gx4 is now my carry only because the lighter weight makes for a more comfortable 12 hr. Carry day .

I have an M2.0 Shield 9mm that I had milled for a Holosun 507k. Could you see if the slides are interchangeable between the M2.0 and the plus like they were with the original and the M2.0?

So How Small are we going to go with the 9mm Hand Gun and hope it will be the best carry gun out there! There are several much smaller 9mm guns out there but as we all know, they are very expensive and very difficult to shoot! I really know nothing about this new gun but I think I can give a edu8cated guess and say that it will not be easy to shoot and it still has a very short barrel, so where is the advantage of this new gun. Maybe it is slightly better to conceal but Not to shoot! I’ll stay with my Glock 43 for my life’s protection!

lots of problems with mine from the mags to the gun itself smh,s&w sent new mag followers but how do u disassemble the mags

The biggest concern in going from a Shield to a Shield Plus as you stated is the extra weight of the rounds. Your review would have been much better had you given the weights of the Shield in 7 and 8 round mags compared to the Plus in 10 and 13 rounds. Maybe an updated review???
huh…love this coming out. just picked it up. sweet. grip could be a little less aggressive still (love stipling but close to skin, it’s still pretty rough) and fitting in old shield hosters? definitely tighter a little bit…and I used/tried a New PC base shield I have besides my base everyday shield…so something is making it tighter/more friction in Serpa.
I like the new blade safe trigger , it looks very nice ,
Just for moving out of Massachusetts to Tennessee makes them a great American company.
S&W makes the best revolvers, and the worse autos pistols. They had to copy Glock to get one that was passable, and they still aren’t as good.

Bought one this week. Love it! The trigger is the best of all the micro 9’s! I went purchase a new p365 and I found a “used” shield plus at a very good price. I left the lgs with the shield plus. Got it home and took it down to clean and the pistol appears unfired. Great pistol! You can’t go wrong with this pistol! Small gun that shoots like a big pistol!
Man. Would love to get one of these, but it’s hard to justify the cost of the upgrade. My 1st gen Shield is still a great conceal gun.

Am I the only one who can’t load 13+1 without FTF after first shot? Mags difficult to insert at capacity. Happened also with new 13 round mag I was actually able to find.
Does this firearm accept standard fullsize m&p mags?
The minimal muzzle flip is very impressive for such a small pistol. Thanks for doing the accuracy test at 19:40. Very acceptable off-hand grouping (for me) at 7 yards. Great review. Thanks!
Why does the 13 magazine only holds 11 bullet? After the 11th, I can’t squeeze in another one. I tried multiple times, succeeded only once, and never can get the 13th one in

I have a new in the package guide rod for a gen 1 i use to have. I traded it for the plus today. Will that guide rod fit the plus if i wear it out
