Glad to see a woman’s point of view on a gun this powerful because I want my wife to be comfortable if she needs to use it. I’ve never shot one either so good review.

Back to very powerful guns & ammunition for carry, main concealed carry by the industry? Here we go again.
Remember the saying, "a hit with a .22LR is better than a miss with a .44 mag."?
10mm kicks like a mule and you with feel all that power in your hand & joint pain. Also 10mm beats up gun & they service life is seriously shortened.
    #FBI Ditching the 10mm & .40 S&W & going with 9mm.
In all due respect to the video maker very power guns is a bad idea for carry.

Any holster suggestions on this pistol can’t seem to find any anywhere?

  6. Rich Bonham on January 23, 2022 at 9:11 pm

It looks great in the box. Ammo is impossible to find in 10mm so can’t use it😖

  7. Rich Bonham on January 23, 2022 at 9:11 pm

Picked mine up today. Cant wait to go to the range. I decided on the 4.6 barrel. Any good suggestions for an optic that will perform on this firearm?

Great job on the video Julie. S&W very fortunate to have you as a spoke person.

  8. P Y on January 23, 2022 at 9:12 pm

Just got mine today, really excited to test this awesome creation.

Thanks for such an insightful video!

  9. Deneen DeMaio on January 23, 2022 at 9:15 pm

Would you recommend a red dot for every day carry?
My husband thinks a dot will get you killed in a gun fight. He killed 82 in Vietnam and thinks he’s the expert with all his war medals 🏅
    Need an unbiased professional opinion.

  10. Zyzzus Christ on January 23, 2022 at 9:16 pm

Have they ran into some production issues with these? Seems they’re unobtainable

I am Glock guy. But after seeing the M&P 2.0 performance center lineup on YouTube the last two weeks. Now I am S&W lover to 😂. I order a performance Center 9mm model but my local gun store got me the basic version and I am pissed and got to request my money back after waiting two weeks to get it. I am also going to get this 10mm model as well but from different gun store

  15. Eddie Arredondo on January 23, 2022 at 9:22 pm

Are you going to release In California compliant

  16. Chris Bohanon on January 23, 2022 at 9:23 pm

  17. JuncTown 30-06 on January 23, 2022 at 9:24 pm

I’m so excited! Can’t wait to handle one. Great video, glad you showed close ups of recoil.

  18. onpsxmember on January 23, 2022 at 9:26 pm

Well done presentation. Don’t forget about the now usable front serrations.^^
It may flip a bit but you don’t lose your grip. I see a lot of shooters having to regrip with their support hand when they shoot .45 and above. What’s your remedy for that? Is the support hand just not in the right spot or should one hand push more in the other?
What dot size do you choose for different roles of handguns?
    Question(s) regarding the 10mm:
Is there some form of buffer system to reduce the impact on the pistol?
.40S&W will be used in a lot of cases even without modifications. So why not add a bundle option with a conversion barrel?
I’m fond of riding the thumb safety as well. If it can be removed/swapped. Is it possible to have a wider thumb safety as an option?

  19. Holly Nites on January 23, 2022 at 9:27 pm

When the price drops below $600.00🥲

  20. 845 TRUE NPRC on January 23, 2022 at 9:27 pm

    It’s available with a 10-round MAG?

  21. Dom sugar on January 23, 2022 at 9:28 pm

I picked one up yesterday the 4inch with holosun 508t streamlight tlr7-a flex light looks beautiful I wanted extra mags but there sold out. I read the m&p m2.0 45 mag well fit just trade out the follower with a 40 follower so I did let’s see how that works out when I get them lol

  22. Ryan Ranard on January 23, 2022 at 9:29 pm

Unfortunately I’ve heard of some issues on YouTube

  23. bphilbac on January 23, 2022 at 9:30 pm

I’ve been waiting for this forever since my uncle had the old 90s 6906 And I love that thing and I’m always walking in the woods and Smith is my favorite brand I’ve cared shield since they came out over 12,000 rounds without a hiccup great video

  26. Pappa Flammy Boi on January 23, 2022 at 9:35 pm

The increase in length on the internal rail will do nothing to prevent or reduce torque due to recoil forces caused by the energy from gas expansion thru ignition of the powder charge and the direction of forces they cause.

The only thing that you could really claim to cause any appreciable reduction in recoil would be an increase in overall mass or a redirection of gasses tangentially opposite to the rotation of mass of the firearm.

  27. freesoulsoldier david on January 23, 2022 at 9:36 pm

Thank you. For the video. Ma’am Amazing gun. I have seen you in the gun industry for over a decade. Why haven’t you aged?? Haha. Your positive attitude and enthusiasm perfectly represents S&W.

  28. Art Cova on January 23, 2022 at 9:36 pm

Hk where is your 10mm!!! 🤬😡🤬😡I want one!

  29. Jim T on January 23, 2022 at 9:37 pm

My new M&P rattles with a full magazine in the gun. What have you done to quell this?

  30. Bob Houle on January 23, 2022 at 9:39 pm

Nice you answered my only question. Thumb safety. My shield and 2.0 compact are without. I prefer none. Now I can buy it. Yay

  31. Chris Liles on January 23, 2022 at 9:39 pm

    awesome

  32. Glenn Mayer on January 23, 2022 at 9:41 pm

    Yiiipppppeeeee!!!

  33. Donn Greenwald on January 23, 2022 at 9:42 pm

I was thinking of that pistol
for my first 10mm, my brother in law handloads 10mm, but in every review I’ve seen, this one seems to jam a lot, myShield in .45 never had jam issues new or otherwise wise, I expect a break in period in the average 1911, but not the average polymer pistol? What your take ?

  34. Lord Kiki on January 23, 2022 at 9:46 pm

Great review. I did find it helpful that you gave your reasons for that choice of barrel length and thumb safety

  35. betteryoubet on January 23, 2022 at 9:48 pm

    I’m excited!

  36. David Goodnow on January 23, 2022 at 9:49 pm

I am new to your channel, this video was first in the feed below TFB TV’s review of the compact version of this pistol. Growing up shooting NRA Bullseye, IPSC, and handgun silhouette, I spent a lot of Junior time shooting my dad’s Bar-Sto custom S&W 59, regularly grouping under six inches at 125 meters with Federal 9BP ammunition.

Three of the girls I trained in NJROTC rifle made the Junior Olympic team, and one went on to represent the U.S.A. in Biathlon at the Olympics, so I know that not only can girls shoot, they learn shooting better than boys do! Nice to find a competitor’s channel.

  37. Red Reeler on January 23, 2022 at 9:51 pm

Might add one to my collection, for and all around pistol!!!

  38. Joey Petrosky on January 23, 2022 at 9:51 pm

So you thank that 10mm here to stay thanks great video god bless you

  39. Mark Jensen on January 23, 2022 at 9:51 pm

I just wish I could find one! Wanted a 10mm after shooting a glock 20 about two years ago. Not a big glock guy but was considering buying one because of the double stack mag. As soon as I was about to buy the glock 20 s&w introduces one. Now I have to watch videos and wait until I can find one.

  40. mac yaktown on January 23, 2022 at 9:52 pm

soooo what size barrel is that 1

  41. Andrew Stromfeld on January 23, 2022 at 9:52 pm

The tactical version of Giada at home! 😎

  42. Ruben Benavidez on January 23, 2022 at 9:55 pm

Great Gun easy to carry concealed!!!!!

  43. Jason Croft on January 23, 2022 at 9:56 pm

Great review! Time will tell for sure, but right now it seems like S&W hit the ball out of the park on this one. They certainly beat Sig to market with this 10MM.

  44. DigD97 on January 23, 2022 at 9:56 pm

Yeah I run a gun shop and this is one I’m actually excited about personally. It’s definitely a home run. Getting ready to put my XDM elite up for sale.

  45. Bill Gund on January 23, 2022 at 9:58 pm

I am blessed to have both a Delta Elite and a Glock 20. Guess I’ll have to add the M&P 10 to my menagerie.

  46. Julie Golob on January 23, 2022 at 9:59 pm

Let me know if you all have any questions and I will do my best to answer!

  47. stah Pit on January 23, 2022 at 10:03 pm

If someone doesn’t care about looks only about reliability why would one buy the S&W and not the Glock which is proven reliable?

  48. walldogger1 on January 23, 2022 at 10:03 pm

First thing that came to mind for me was I was looking at a grown up version of Autumn, from Autumn’s Armory! Yes, it was certainly meant as a compliment!👍

  49. JustScottPaid on January 23, 2022 at 10:05 pm

Now let’s hope S&W continue to use this new trigger shoe on all models!👍

  50. brutusbn76 on January 23, 2022 at 10:06 pm

UGLY GUN. NO ONE LIKES S & W SEMI-AUTOS. ALSO THIS WOMAN IS A SLART. NOTHING WRONG WITH THE 10MM GLOCK. THIS THING IS LITERALLY FOR SLARTS WITH FLATCAPS
